Dr. Bradley Bays saved our ferrets life. Our three-year-old ferret, Jake, had a GI obstruction caused by pet hair. An emergency vet in North Kansas City had misdiagnosed Jakes symptoms over the weekend. By Monday morning, Jake was lethargic and vomiting. Despite her full schedule, Dr. Bradley Bays made room for Jake, X-Rayed his abdomen, and conducted an emergency surgery that day. She was kind and compassionate. When she saw how worried I was about our pet, she even gave me a hug! Belton called in the middle of surgery to update us and run an additional procedure by us before proceeding, and checked on Jake two additional times after he went home. They also ran every cost by us beforehand to ensure we could be prepared financially. If we had waited any longer for the surgery, we would have lost our beloved Jake. A couple months later, our ferret is his happy, hopping self again, all thanks to Dr. Bradley Bays! We are so grateful to Dr. Bradley Bays and the Belton staff for their compassion, professionalism, and expertise.

Genuinely sincere. I had an emergency with my pet degu, no other vets were open but the front desk nurse talked with me at 7:10 a.m. and called a doc up, and by 8 a.m. my pet was in the back getting care. Unfortunately by the time I found him at 7, it was just too late. I was very upset because he was so young, the doc talked to me about what could have happened, gave me coffee, hugs, a biodegradable bag to bury him in. They were beyond sweet. They also only made me pay for the oxygen they put him on before he passed. A week later I got a card from them, with not only the front desk nurse who helped me, but the doc and many others signed it with their regards. I was so impressed by their professionalism and providing such care, to not only the animals that go in but the owners to. I live fourth minutes away from Belton, but it is worth the drive when I have an emergency or need my pets to be checked!!! I am beyond grateful :)

Belton Animal Clinic is an absolutely wonderful and skilled veterinary clinic. I brought my dear Frankie in to this facility in an emergency in which we lost him on Christmas Eve. The staff - especially Dr. Kimberly Miller were knowledgeable, kind and willing to answer any questions I had despite the fact that our visit took up much of their time. Due to the experience we had there we decided to bring my other cat Madison who had recently been given a possible diagnosis of lymphoma to Dr Miller for any and ALL future care. As we have just moved from a small town in Oregon where we had a trusted vet that my pets had been seeing over the last 12 years, we are beyond pleased that we found (quite by accident) a veterinary clinic that we can implicitly trust with our fur family.

We adopted Daisy a few months ago, and decided it was time to get her associated with a vet that was close to where we lived. Daisy, our Australian Cattle/Pit Bull Mix, needed her nails trimmed and a wellness exam. When we walked in, Daisy, immediately was curious yet she was comfortable. The atmosphere is very inviting to pets! The nurses, assistants & the doctor were absolutely amazing with her. Daisy didnt want to go home. They even examined a concern we had about Daisy hopping at times on just 3 legs...and they found that Daisy had arthritis and also a torn ACL in her knee. The doctor sat down, took her time explaining to me all of our options for Daisy including diet, supplements & care. I will not take my pet anywhere else!

Dr. Bradley Bays treated our two birds as more than just pets but as two members of our family. One of our birds was extremely ill and it took some time to find a veterinary hospital that would see her. The entire staff was wonderful and extremely caring. They quickly started treatment and kept us informed about options, costs, and possible outcomes. Due to their extensive experience and quick action they were able to save our bird. We continue to take both our birds to Belton Animal Clinic and I strongly recommend them for any pet. I have also been very impressed with their facility. Everything is extremely clean and they have a broad range of advanced medical equipment. Dr. Bradley Bays and the entire staff are fantastic!

It was last Christmas Eve when we first started seeing the doctors at Belton Animal Clinic. Our cockatoo had broken a nail the night before and the bleeding would not stop. They offered to stay open a little later until we got there around 2. He had lost a lot of blood but the doctors there got him all fixed up on Christmas Eve. About two weeks later we went back to have the nail removed. After the surgery everything was fine and he was on some medicine they gave us. Today he is a happy, healthy bird and we take him to Belton for everything now. We trust all the doctors there and appreciate them so much for saving our birds life. For an exotics vet they are very fairly priced also.

HORRIBLE. I took my cat there because my vet was booked solid from the holiday. They are the MOST EXPENSIVE vet I have ever been to and my cat is still sick. THEY SUCK. all these 5 star reviews are a crock and are fake. I looked up the medicine they sold me for $45 and found it all over the internet from $17 to $22. Thatll give you an idea of how high they are. Plus the high rip off office fee in which they dont even examine your pet. My vet said theyre surprised any vets even use the crap still that they sold me. BIG FAT RIPOFF!! They are the icon of whats wrong with most vets nowadays. They could CARE LESS about your pet. All they care about is padding their pockets. BEWARE.

Last night a dog attacked my little quaker parrot. She was bleeding and not putting weight on one leg. I rushed to the nearest vet that handles exotic pets and I am so glad I did. They immediately put her in an oxygen tank and stabilized her. They were incredible compassionate as I was in tears over my pet. She is now home and isolated in a covered cage and taking her medication no problem. I am pretty sure if I didnt take her in she very well could have died from stress or infection. I am so grateful for the fast and compassionate care my Little parrot, Angel, received. I will recommend this vet to anyone with birds.

Never in my life have I ever be treated with such disrespect! I will not bring ANY of my animals to this clinic ever again! Not all is lost, we found a wonderful veterinarian who said my animal was in perfect shape for an animal of his kind. No problem, no issue. These people said he was malnourished, underweight, and not properly taken care of. What a joke! Not only did I save my animal from whatever that evil, vile woman would have done to him, but i also saved a TON of money by switching to a doctor that gives a real damn about MY animal. Thank you and good luck

My visit to Belton Animal Clinic was delightful. The receptionists were friendly and greeted me promptly. I would recommend this clinic to my family and friends because the veterinarians were knowledgable, respectful and honestly cared more about me and my pets without prejudice. As a registered veterinary technician and a B.S. in biology, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable and have given estimates and treatment plans for various services. Quality care and service and good rapport with my veterinarian is more important to me than the bill.
