I dont write reviews usually. But my experience with this doctor was so dissatisfying that i want others to know about. The front desk staffs, nurses, office cleanliness all were good and i would give 5 stars for them. But i wouldnt give even a single star for the doctor. During my visit, I explained the doctor about my health issue and she looked very careless to listen to it. After i finish, she didnt explain or give me any medical information that what could be the cause for the problem. I pulled the information from her what i needed by asking questions. She seemed like in a rush to run out of the room. she didnt even say bye and left the room, and i was totally in a confusion that what is next because she didnt tell me any. My meeting time with her was only 2-3 mins. They got my blood work, when i asked about the result, they said they will give call in a week. But they didnt come up with my result even after 2 weeks. I called up office 3 times and got it over the phone from a front desk attendant. Cant they have a nurse to call the patient and explain the test results. She is such an unprofessional doctor i have ever seen. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I know other people are writing poor reviews. But, I will say, on my first visit, I didnt feel confident either. But, that being said. She is actually a very kind and caring doctor. She is new in the profession and just getting her feet wet. If you talk to her, she will listen and answer questions and work with you. She is very knowledgeable, but, shy as well. It is part of her personality, not her professionalism. There is a short wait time because she moves quickly from patient to patient. That is a good thing. By my second visit, when she knew me as a person and a patient, she was much more personable. I will say, once she gets to know you, she is wonderful and I have full confidence in her and believe in years to come, she will be know as one of the best health care professionals in the state. Just be patient,no pun intended, and let her know all your symptoms and work with her. Keep in mind, when you show up to a doctors office, the doctor has no idea of what you are going through, you need to let the doctor know everything so they can make the best possible judgement call.

Follow up Nov 2015, it has been about 3 years Ive been with Dr. August and still am very happy she is my pcp. Would rather change my insurance then not have her in my plan. _ Dr. August is a great doctor who always made me feel comfortable. Ive been seeing her for 2 years now and I always have a positive experience with her and her staff. I like that she is a quick doctor. She answers the questions I ask, gives me the information I need, and goes above and beyond with insurance and paperwork. If you want a doctor to chat for 10 mins about how your childs dance recital went then dont expect such short wait times. She is also VERY knowledgeable and has helped diagnose health ailments with ease. Bonus, she is connected with Hackensack Medical and when I had to stay there overnight with a recent surgery, she was kind enough to stop in and check up on me in the morning. Im surprised to see such negative reviews, she is quick, but always kind and helpful. Let us also not forget how awesome the reception and nurse staff are here!

Ive been to the office 3 times. First time when I came I was informed that the doctor left early (thats ok, but could they have called me?) Second time the doctor spent less then 5 minutes with me and just ordered some blood work. I was not very happy and didnt want to see her again. But when I called the office about my lab results, they said I need to make an appointment. So I came to the office for the 3rd time and here comes the best part: The doctor comes in and introduces herself even though she just saw me a few days ago. (short memory, huh?) Then she asks me what Im there for!! (of course, how would she know!) Then she quickly goes over my lab results without even mentioning any of my concerns, that I expressed during my first visit!! Then she quickly disappears to write a prescription and doesnt come back. Interestingly on her page in riversidemedgroup web site we see that she believes in “creating a life-long relationship with completely satisfied patients.”

A doctor bot. Dr August is a staff doctor in the Riverside Medical Group. If you last seen her at one location, chances are she will have moved to another location by the time you try to see her again. She says "I go where they send me." She spends very little time, rarely looks you in the eyes. If she has to discuss something with you, she sits with legs crossed, one leg moving quickly back and forth. Shows no emotion, no connection. If you are a patient who needs refills for meds for life saving meds, do not count on her or the staff to follow through and submit the refills. Staff is as cold as Dr August. She has the bedside manner of a bed pan, you need one, but the idea of using one is a bad experience. Sorry to say this. Are there any such things as good, reliable primary care doctors anymore? Well, not at Riverside.

Her office staff was great. Relatively short wait (15-20min) -- in comparison to some of the awful wait times Ive seen in the past. She was dismissive and uninterested. She seemed like she wanted to rush through each patient of the day. I didnt have any big issues, I was just there for a physical, so I wasnt too upset about her lack of interest. But, one thing that is concerning, is that her office appears to be nearly renovated, which is great. But, the walls are PAPER THIN and Dr. August happens to have a voice that travels. I was able to hear Dr. August in a patient room giving a patient their blood results, word for word, from the waiting room. That made me uncomfortable.

Ive been going to dr august for a few years now and shes always been able to help me and get my symptoms exactly correct with swift treatment and referrals. Shes super friendly, can connect with her very well, and she doesnt make patients wait an extraordinarily long time compared to other doctors. I would recommend her to anyone with an insurance that Riverside Med takes.

I just started going to Dr. Augusts office. Im very pleased with the visits. Unlike my previous primary care doctor, Dr. August actually takes the time to review test results with me. I read the previous comments about how fast the visits are. Make sure you have a list of questions for her, she does take the time to answer them.
