Doctor Scott Neabore’s skillful and knowledgeable hands removed the decayed teeth from my dog’s mouth. Samson had been pawing at his mouth because the pain from his swollen gums was no longer bearable to him. Four years ago, another doctor informed me that my Shitzu needed to have his teeth cleaned. I thought it was a bizarre idea because he is a dog, he will ignore the bottle water that I carried for him and preferred to drink water from the creek. Naturally, I thought that spending money on cleaning his teeth was wasteful. I was wrong ... due to lack of oral hygiene he had gum disease causing his teeth to rot. In approximately five weeks, Samson had two oral surgeries to remove a total of 15 teeth, that caused me to feel guilty about my penny wise and pound foolish behavior. Today, Samsons gums are healthy and he is feeling alive and well. I bought a childrens electric toothbrush and chicken flavor toothpaste on Amazon. I will maintain the health of his remaining front teeth by brushing them. I did very well by trusting my thirteen and a half years old Shitzu in Doctor Neabore professional care at Countryside in Medford.

worst group of veterninarians ever.. the one or two experience vets are great and the younger ones (who you see mostly) are so money hungry. they run tests for everything. my animal just had a full set of blood work. i am moving in 6 days and my animal is very upset. the more experience vet is not there and the others insist on more blood work. and seeing the animal. i am asking for an animal that has been going to this same vet since she was born, has had recent blood work and was just seen. i complain to the senior vet everytime i go in & he makes notes in my file every time i go in but the senior vet only comes in once or twice a week and the younger ones are as money hungry as money hungry gets. no matter what i call for, i get the same response, needs to be seen... needs blood work... but i just did blood work.... doesnt matter, we have to line our pockets

I have been using the Countryside Veterinary Hospital in Medford for my dogs care for almost seven years. The staff are all very professional, accommodating and friendly and have a great way with animals. They have extensive hours each day, making seeing the vet very convenient. In particular, Dr. Scott Neabore has been my dogs vet for the past several years. He has seen my dog for annual visits, emergency visits, a teeth cleaning that required extractions, etc. Dr. Neabore is an extremely competent, compassionate and calm doctor who has a wonderful way with my miniature dog who gets very anxious at the vet. He is always patient and takes time to get to know the animals and listen to any concerns that I may have. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Neabore without hesitation -- you wont be disappointed.

Very compassionate and caring doctors and staff. They make every effort to make your pet feel comfortable, whether a routine visit or something more serious. Everyone at Countryside will always take the time to answer any questions or concerns you have about your pets care. Phone calls are returned promptly, and they always give a follow up call the next day to check on a pet that has been ill. I am very pleased with the care my dog receives at Countryside, and would not think of going anywhere else. Doctors are very knowledgeable and cater their care based on each individual animal. You will not regret choosing this veterinary hospital.

My mothers 18 year old cat was dying and had to be put to sleep, so we called several vets in the area. They all wanted at least $150, which is outrageous considering that an examination was not needed. Countryside is the only veterinarian that does FREE euthanasia. We were able to make an appointment for the same day. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic. They didnt "talk down" to us as some vets have done in the past. Both my mother and I have other cats, and if we need to bring them to a vet for any reason, we will definitely take them to Country Veterinary Hospital from now on.

Take your dog or cat family members to Countryside and you will be elated with the wonderful care and staff! In particular, Dr. Scott Neabore deserves exceptional praise and recognition for his veterinary and "human" skills. If it were not for him, we would have lost our 14 year old pug several weeks ago. Countryside demonstrates immense care because of the individuals consisting of its team. We have used them for several years and recommend them wholeheartedly.

These folks have taken fantastic care of my dogs and are very reasonable with pricing. They have done surgery on both my dogs and charged much less than I would have paid at bigger vets.

I was able to get my cat in quickly 2 b sedated and shaved Doc did a great job She was groggy at all Mom and cat are very happy Thank you Country side vets
