I LOVE VAN BUREN DENTAL!!! The friendly personnel start the moment you walk in with the front office ladies! They treat you like friends and are so helpful and courteous when making appointments for your next dental visit! All of the dental staff are sooo knowledgeable and PAINLESS in performing their necessary tasks to keep up my dental health! The doctors, I trust with their opinions and avenue of treatment, that it wont be unnecessary treatment and cost me a fortune with out of pocket expenses! I even had to have a dental implant and a visiting oral surgeon came to their office to help me. That was beyond convenient!!! Im very particular about my teeth and they are, too, which I so appreciate!!! After them fixing several issues I had, I can say I am thrilled with my smile and my teeth and would HIGHLY recommend checking out Van Buren Dental for all your routine dental care as well as any other treatments you may need! Who can say you have a great time at the dentists office....I do!!!

Prior to visiting Dr. Shepler at Van Buren Dental I had such anxiety about visiting the dentist. I can thank Dr. Shepler and his caring staff for helping me overcome my fear of the dentist. The level of empathy the staff at Van Buren has for their patients is above par. Every dental issue I have had I know that Dr. Shepler has done what he thought was best for me as a patient with keeping costs in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Shepler and his assistant Pam. I promise you that you will not meet a more caring or personable staff. I am confident in Dr. Sheplers decisions and know my teeth are getting the best care they can get when they are in the hands of Dr. Shepler and Pam. I cannot begin to thank you for all the care you have provided me over the years. We loved Van Buren Dental so much that after moving we chose to continue to drive out to Kettering. If, you are in need of a dentist this is the place to go.

Update: I changed my review to reflect that they did try to contact me and make things better. Unfortunately I expressed by frustrations with dentist to them and could only give them the one chance. I still wont go back but do appreciate the thought. Original Review: I called and explained that I really only wanted a cleaning. Then when I arrived I explained I could only afford a cleaning. After 90 minutes of lecturing about how bad my teeth were and I would need thousands of dollars to fix them I was told to reschedule for a cleaning. I told the dentist this was my problem with the last two dentist 3 years ago and 6 years ago they would not do anything but talk to me about money and cost. I would give zero stars if I could because I never even got what I wanted which was a cleaning. Would never go back.

I highly recommend van buren dental. I have been going there for years. Heather and Lindsay work the front desk and they are very nice. Even though you only go there a couple times a year they seem to remember you when you walk in the door. Cyndy has been cleaning my teeth for years and she treats you like you are part of her family. She also cleans my dads teeth and when he went there last year after having some health issues she cared about him like it was her own dad. She even sent him a card in the mail to cheer him up. Dr. Shepler is really good too. He always makes sure that you are ok when he is doing a procedure on you. Overall this is a great place to go if you need dental work done and dont know where to go.

Looking for a great dental office ? Look no farther... Van Buren Dental is the absolute best.... Dr Buchwalder and his staff are awesome.. Heather always greets me with a smile and a smile always makes me feel just a little better... Renee or Charlotte always comes and gets me to take me back to my room where they prep me for Dr Buchwalder. These young ladies are AWESOME.. very professional and courteous... Dr Buchwalder is the best dentist ever... Takes away all the fear and makes me feel comfortable.. Checking out with Lindsay makes me realize why I always come to Van Buren Dental. Lindsay you are Super.. Thanks to all you guys for making me always feel welcome and just like family...

Ive had a fear of the dentist because of an incident at another dentist when I was 5. I was so terrified to go back. I finally decided to try to go to the dentist after 12 years. We tried a couple different dentist who were rough and rude and didnt help my fear. My mother suggested van buren because she had worked with dr. Shepler before and thought he was great. Van buren has been the only place I have felt comfortable and Dr. Shepler has helped me through so much. Everyone is so kind and makes sure youre okay throughout the entire thing. Ive had a couple teeth pulled and even a root canal! I definitely recommend going here, especially if you have a fear of the dentist.

Eveyrtime I visit Van Buren Dental Im treated like family. Lindsay and Heather are always so friendly and make you feel right at home. My hygienist, Cyndy is very thorough when cleaning my teeth & I can relate and look forward to her stories. Dr. Shepler ALWAYS makes you feel comfortable when getting treatment. His staff will explain what will take place before it happens so theres no surprises. Joy, Charlotte, Renee and Angie are so funny, sometimes I for get Im at a dental office. They really know how to make it a fun work place and fun for the patients. I just cant say enough good things about this office. If youve not been before, you are missing out. Ray Brown

I used to dread going to the dentist. I always left with a headache and it was awful. My husband finally got me to switch the his dentist and they are awesome! Cyndy is so gentle and knowledgeable. This cleaning she knew my allergies were acting up and I was having to breathe through my mouth simply based on where there was tartar build up on my teeth. I have seen Dr. Buchwalder and Dr. Alex. Both are amazing! I have also been thrilled with how great they are with my three year old. They are so kind and patient with her. They are always so excited to see her and make her feel special. Couldnt be more thrilled with the switch to Van Buren Dental!

I have been going to Van Buren Dental since I was a kid, now my husband and kids are part of this great experience! Making an appointment is so easy and hassle free when dealing with Heather and Lindsay. They are very helpful and work around your busy life schedule! We have seen several of the hygienist and they are all quick and great, along with making us all feel very comfortable! Dr. Buckwalder and his assistants, Charlotte and Angie, are very efficient and professional. Overall, Van Buren Dental is a great office and provides you with a very comfortable and reassuring atmosphere....highly recommend!!!!
