Ive been here a couple of times. Kelly the PA. Is extremely incompetent. With my daughter who had a severe sore throat and cough for well over a week, she tells me " since she doesnt have her tonsils it is impossible for her to have strep throat . It is also impossible to test for it because there is nothing to swab. " . So what was her diagnosis? Strep throat , and gave her an antibiotic. Also her examination of my daughter was pathetic. You can not listen to lungs when the patient is wearing a heavy jacket. And she never even bothered to listen to her posterior lung sounds. Second encounter was for myself. Having signs and symptoms of a sinus infection . She comes in after the nurse asks questions and enters stuff in the computer. ( including my list of medication allergies.) Again does a very poor examination . After about 3 minutes she says its viral an antibiotic will not do anything. OK I understand that. What does she do.? Gives me an antibiotic ( in case I need it later) . When the nurse came back in with the discharge papers and my prescription I knew Kelly never even bothered to look at my chart on the computer. She gave me a prescription for an antibiotic I am allergic to. I tell the nurse this ( which was a different one form the first one I talked to) she was like " you are?" Finally get one I am able to take. This person is going to end up seriously injuring someone if not worse. How she even made it through training is way beyond me. I will not be going back to the walk in clinic until later she is gone. Trying to report here has gone nowhere because no one from the complaint dept will return phone calls.

Back when they were across from Bdubs, I had nothing good to say. My wife and I were both patients at this office... she was a patient of Bakenhaster and I had Adkins. Typically our wait times to be seen by either Dr. were close to an hour. Once my wife changed jobs, she changed doctors. I, on the other hand, have stuck it out in the hopes that things would chance once they moved. Nope. My last 3 appointments this year have all taken place while Ive been on lunch at my work. Ive let them know this each and every time... but still my appointments are anywhere between an hour to 2 hours. So Im waiting over an hour for basically a 20-30 minute consult with the Dr. How is that beneficial? The last time I went in was about a month ago because of nagging back pain... and I sat in the waiting room for an hour. Then was moved to a room, where I sat for another 45 minutes. Only to be seen for 10 minutes. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. Enough is enough.

I went for an asthma attack, I was struggling to breathe when I arrived, I had to write down my information because I could barely talk. They had me wait nearly an hour. Ive had asthma my whole life and it seldom scares me, but it was getting to the point that I was anxiously googling cardiac arrest. I asked them how much longer and they told me it was still a while and I should just drive to the ER. I did, the ER was outraged and my oxygen level was 82 when I got there. The only positive thing I can say is the security guard was sweet and helped me fish through my purse for my keys while I pulled myself together to drive. I think their blatant dismissal of my visible breathing problems told me all I need to know about them.

So today I was seen here and I absolutely hated it. The only nice people were the receptionist and my actual doctor. The nurse was NOT nice. She was almost aggravated that she had to deal with me and snappy with her comebacks. I had to have my leg numbed and cut open but they didnt even let it numb! As soon as they were done they cut me. I felt EVERYTHING. She came back with cleaning supplies and a wrap (btw Ive been crying since he put the needle in my leg) and she starts SCRUBBING the area he just cut! I told her to please stop that it was too much pain she she sneered at me and said "okay!" Very sarcastically. Do not come here..

Super hospitable staff! Especially Nurse Morgan K. !! This was my first time ever going to the emergency room on my own and so I had no idea what to do all I could think about was how bad my stomach hurt, but the nurses and staff helped me with the whole thing, and got my pain relieved as soon as they could. The wait was very short. They made sure in the mean time to keep me very comfortable with warm blankets and ice chips. They were also very patient with me. Overall a very comfortable experience that ended in a healthy result. (:

Went into er about 930 pm registration was speedy and the women were so kind. Was in a room within 10 minutes and saw the doctor very quickly. Saw Dr. Ritenour and my nurse Was Autumn, they were both very kind and attentive despite being busy! My doctor was VERY thorough and when given diagnosis they set me up with a doctor for follow up as well as detailed instructions. Wonderful experience, the best emergency room experience I have ever had despite being absolutely miserable. Nothing but praise to give! Thanks Avita

*** read the reviews, long wait times, poor communication, lack of concern for patients is a common theme***. I have had nothing but horrible experiences working with Dr. Bakenhaster. I do not recommend this doctor or Avita in Ontario if they allow their practices to be run so unorganized. Despite the fact that waiting times are over an hour, this particular Doctors office told me they "ignore" faxes they receive from pharmacies regarding prescription refills. There is poor communication between staff and patients.

Used the walk in clinic in Ontario and had a wonderful experience! We got in early so the wait time was short. It did get busy, but all of the staff seemed to be doing their best to be quick yet give the attention needed. The doctor even gave me medication to treat a problem besides what I went in for, didnt tell me to see someone else or come back another time! Will definitely be going back if I ever need a walk in clinic!

Dr. Adkins has been our physician since April 2000. My daughter, born that September has seen other doctor but him! We dont feel any Pediatrician could do better. He is very knowledgeable and explains it so we understand! Also, he cares how we fel about what we need to know not just physically. We dont know what we would when he retires! He is a true Doctor!

My 6 year old son started complaining about severe ear pain tonight at 9pm Avita Urgent care advertises they are open until 11pm that is NOT the case. My husband took him out there tonight to get his ear checked out. They are closed. When we called the phone number it even states the hours and there is nobody there tonight. So much for extended hours...
