My family and I have been taking our pets to aloha cat and dog for a few years. I recently had to put my cat down due to old age and other serious health issues recently at aloha cat and dog. My cat was a stray 6+ years ago that we took in and made her a part of the family not knowing her true age. I had taken my cat in to aloha cat and dog on a check up visit a couple years ago, Dr. Amanda Meester was our veterinarian that visit and I had asked her if she could possibly determine a age for my cat. She said, somewhere between 5-8 years old. I knew very well, the cat was full grown when she popped up on our property which was 5+ yeas ago prior to that check up visit and at this point my cat had arthritis and grey hairs on her (she was naturally Auburn/black hair), so I knew she had, had been 10+ years in age. So, that tells me Dr. Meeser was unsure. So heres the cherry on top..I had to put my cat down last week and I request a private cremation and also a paw print. I remember telling Dr. Meeser, I didnt know how theyd be able to get a good paw print because her little paws were in rough shape. Dr. Meeser said something in the words of, "well try to make a good one". Yesterday, I went to pick up the remains of my cat, and what do you know? No paw print! They were looking around for it, went to the back to ask around and sure enough, one of the assistants comes tells me, "we are so sorry, but we failed you. Dr. Meeser forgot to relate the message to the funeral home. Theres no charge for it, its a free service we offer." I was and still am angry and very upset about this. I do not care about a charge or no charge for a paw print, its a sentimental item to always have of her, now my cat is dust no paw print, ever. Im not sure what is going on with Dr. Meeser, but my two experiences Ive had with her were not the greatest due to not giving accurate information and forgetting to relate a message to the funeral home. Not to mention, after all the visits my cat has had at aloha cat and dog, the day I put her down was the first time any of the vets ever opened her mouth to check inside, which is where the main health issue my cat had was. Im glad to say, I am not ever recommending aloha cat and dog to new patients and also my mother will no longer be taking her dog there.

Just took my dog there for the first time since moving here from out of state. The location was very clean both inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I mean, every single one of them, not just the receptionist. You could tell they all loved animals too as they all treated my dog very well. They diagnosed the problem quickly and easily laid out solutions. No question from me was deflected or discouraged, no matter how dumb or generic they probably sounded. They even had free coffee / drinks for guests and homemade cookies. I do not think I have ever had a better Vet experience and would be shocked to hear a bad review of this place. If you are looking for a "good" place to take your pet, look no further.

I have visited this vet twice now, and have never felt pressured into procedures or testing that was not needed. I have a very sick cat and they are taking great care of him. They are friendly, knowledgable, and explain everything clearly. I am so glad I switched vets. It makes such a huge difference, and I actually think my cat is going to start feeling better because of them. The other place (Banfield - dont go there. They are overpriced and hire inexperienced vets!) had me spending over $1500 in the last year trying to figure out what was wrong with him. It seemed like everytime I left their clinic the bill was over $300. With Aloha Cat and Dog, I left paying about $60 and felt much more confident in their care.

I have been to about every veterinarian office in Washington county over the years for my dog Alex. I find when Alex has had serious problems, Aloha Dog & Cat is the only place I trust. The doctors are professional, friendly and most of all consistent. I know I will get the best care for my pup EVERY time and that is so important when having an emergency or hurt dog. Tonight my dog is limping on front right paw. Now I could bring him up to VRC Rock creek, they are open til 10pm. I am opting to wait til morning when Dog and Cat Hospital is open because I know in the long run they will know the right tests and procedures to do on pup.

Worst vet clinic I have ever been to. There pricing are outrageous and all of the people that work there are completely rude. All the did was check my kittens temperature & weigh her then check her ears and they charged us 60 god damn dollars. Do not go here. Update ; 2 days later and now my baby kitten is dead after they said nothing was wrong other then maybe having low blood sugar do not take your animals here they will get missed diagnosed and you wont even know it vets are supposed to help make your animal better not say nothings wrong and charge you a ton of money for no reason

I have been a client of this clinic for over 20 years now. You couldnt pay me to ever head any other direction. Smart, beyond competent, and ready to talk all treatments through without making you feel pressured to track only one way, these Vets KNOW their stuff. The staff work as a family and treat you as the same. Theyve cared for my large crowd of pets over the years and been the best resource of help and compassion that could ever be looked for. NEVER ONCE have I had a even semi poor experience. Their prices are fair, and theyre trustable. THATs huge to me.

I brought in 2 cats that have been seen several times at this hospital. They refused to give me pricing in advance. Exams were $55 each minus a $15 discount whereas I could have gotten them for $30 elsewhere. Total cost for both exams and 3 vaccinations was $179. Pricing from other vets was under $105 minus a one time free exam making a my total if I went somewhere else ~$75.

Weve been going to Aloha Dog and Cat Hospital for 15 years. They are clean, organized and the care they provide is consistently excellent. Over the years theyve cared for both our dogs and all three of our cats for checkups as well as emergencies. The staff and doctors are highly competent and they care deeply about our pets. This is an excellent veterinary hospital.

DR. Leddy was my Vet when I first moved here to Oregon back on 2001. After my Rotties past (at 13) I began fostering for animal rescues. The rescues paid for any vet expenses at their vet. After I became a foster failure, Dr Leddy had moved and could not find her again, I was so happy to find her here and Im back with the best vet EVER!!!!
