Dr.Butia was overly generous with his time and his knowledge with my husky meira..he was very caring and affectionate with her which releived me of any concerns i may have had when i switched from another vet. I knew i made the right choice by taking my dog there the minute we walked in the door and was greeted by a very friendly staff and very clean environment. I am extremely pleased with the services we got from Dr.Butia and will continue to take all of my animals to him.His clinic is very affordable especially considering the excellent care provided. Top notch all around !!I would recommend Dr.Butia for the care of any and all animals belonging to all of my friends,family and strangers!! Feeling very grateful to have found the best veterinarian in Dr.Butia!!

If you are looking to find the same quiet, confident demeanor of Dr. Larry Bason, you wont find it in Dr. Geoffrey Butia. I felt less than confident about my dogs future, so I sought a second opinion. Dr. Butia retaliated by immediately stopping all care and throwing out a test sample that should have gone to Cornell. He later told me that it is "protocol" to stop all testing when someone seeks a second opinion. Really? The test was paid for. He ended the last phone call with "I dont want you guys as clients." It is a shock and disappointment to me that Dr. Larry Bason would allow such an egotistic Quack to ride on his coat tails.

I did not post a bad review because I wanted to penalize Dr. Butia for not giving me a refund. This is false. I understand that he must abide by laws, but this is not an excuse for not noticing that my dog had extra lumps under her fur. And the veterinarian assistant did not offer to reschedule my dog for a visit after I explained that the medication Apoquel gave my dog a seizure. I assure you my original review was not done out of spite. I genuinely believe that this veterinarian is just prescribing stuff for profit. He never once came out of his office to explain anything he wrote in this review. It was his assistant that I dealt with.

Absolutely love this vets office everyone is always very helpfull and patient with my 2 pits (they get nervous ever since we had to leave them there for surgeries). I love that we can go back in the room with our pets and help comfort them if need be. They are also more affordable then most vets around here. I strongly recommend this veterinarian to anyone who askes what vet we go to.

Do not expect a thorough evaluation of your pet by this provider. If the doctor makes a mistake, he will not own up to, only make excuses. They are unfair and unethical, spend your money on your pet elsewhere.
