We recently took in an abandoned cat in our home knowing that he was friendly. He was a neighbors inside cat, and knowing him over the years, we had to take him in. We decided to have him checked out at this clinic knowing that he had some progressing issues. Hes about 9 or 10yrs, so we know the kind of probs he could have. Anyways, we brought him in, had what we thought was a full exam done, and that was it. He was somewhat diagnosed, given medicine, and then we were on our way. I paid the bill, scheduled the next appt, and left. Due to the fact that he was sedated for the exam, I was not able to see him once he was in the crate. I let him be. After the fact, I noticed that his ears was full of black s**t, and cleaned it out. I decided to call the next day, but the vet was not there. I was told he would return on Sat from 8a-12p. After getting out of work myself, I called back at around 1130a, and he was gone for the day. I was not too too happy about that, but it was what it was. We soon got a call back from a woman, whom I assume is their secretary. She told me that she contacted the doctor and confirmed that it wasnt mites, but that he cant remember doing an exam on his ears. She proceeded to say that my cat (Simon), had so many issues that he cant remember. He cant remember? He just saw him!! I was told he was too focused on his underlying problem. Regardless, he was brought in for an exam, and his ears were not examined. I was then asked to clean the air and bring in the black unknown substance. Umm, hello? dont you think I already cleaned it out? Regardless, she told me that I was not being fair!! In a nutshell, I dished out over $100 to them to look at my cat, and a proper exam was NOT done.. Oh and lets not forget the fact that the good ol doc made me look like an a**hole bc I brought in an abandoned cat w/o knowing its history. If I could give this place a rating of a negative, I would, so dont let the 1 star fool you. I would advise to never bring your animal here, esp if you are looking for someone to take the time to do the proper procedure. You dont want a vet to not remember what he did the day before. If you love your animal, bring them somewhere else!!!!!! These people are disgusting!!!

Dr. Brewer has no right being in the business he is in. To say he has no bedside manner is an understatement. You need to be compassionate and understanding when you are dealing with peoples pets, they are our family. He is gruff, rude, condescending and has no patience.....when someone comes in and is scared and wants to know what is happening and asks questions you should not interrupt them, you should let them air their concerns. You should not lecture people or make them feel worthless and useless. It is one thing to say yes he doesnt talk you into things you dont need, but he does not have a very positive outlook at all. I left even more confused over my cats health, thinking I could have done better myself using Google. He talked over me on several occasions and the last straw was when he threw his hands up, sighed in disgust and walked out of the room turning his back to me. His secretarys style is short and clipped, no customer service skills there at all. The whole experience left me feeling small and belittled. My cat may not be in the best health at the moment, and Im not angry if she cant be saved by anyone but all I know is I will NEVER be going back there for any sort of treatment or heaven forbid putting my baby down.

We love, love, love Dr. Brewer & his wife Nancy. We have been bringing our pets to this vet for several years (4 dogs and 1 cat throughout the years). The Dr and his wife have been caring, accommodating and never overcharge. They take good care of our babies, and have squeezed them in on occasions, when they knew we were concerned. Ill never forget the compassion Nancy displayed when we had to say "Goodbye" to our Senior Sheltie several years ago. She held us and sobbed with us. Thank you Dr. Brewer, Nancy, and Staff. My little Pug Doris was attacked by an unleashed larger dog. Dr. G. did a wonderful, comprehensive, and caring work to help me with the after care of the wound. Her assistant Sarah was on the move constantly, assisting Dr. G with Doris exam, care and follow-up. Airport Animal Hospital prices are fair and reasonable. We couldnt have asked for a better replacement for our much respected Dr. Brewer who retired somewhat unexpectedly. Dr. G will remain as our trusted Veterinarian.

I have always brought my pets to Dr. Brewer. He is very caring and good with cats and dogs. He took care of my dog when she was sick. I brought her in each morning and they kept her and made sure she was keeping her food down. They only charged me for the food. We moved to CT and we still brought our pets here. Now we are in Johnston and we are still going to Dr. Brewer. Its nice to see a vet that actually cares about your animals as much as you do.

Unprecedented!!! Was in Vermont and my vet there said, yes, teeth cleaning probably would be a good idea. $400 bucks. Was in Providence, went to see Dr. Brewer to get doggy a shot, and asked him about the teeth. He said, well, I could take your money, but he doesnt really need it yet. I wouldnt do it now, really. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT HONESTY>!!!!???? How rare is that?! How amazing is that?! I would drive 5 hours from Vermont for Dr. Brewer!!

Dr. Brewer is a little gruff, but thats fine with me because I can be a little "gruff" too. He has been very good with all of my cats, and very thorough. I have not been overcharged there, never talked into having procedures on my cats that they didnt really need. The front office folks are always pleasant too. Its a good place for me!

I love this place!!! very caring and open minded..... Dr. Brewer and Nancys main priority is to help animals....rather than pad-their-pockets! Dr. Brewer is an extremely knowledgeable veterinarian who gets right to the point which is very commendable .
