While Dr. Bleck is fantastic. Part of what I like best about Family Friends is the fact that the entire staff, vet techs, secretaries, you name it are professional, helpful, and genuinely care about animals. Dr. Bleck found a way to help us care for our pets when another vet said there was no option or only expensive options. Our big, family dog lived to almost 16 years when the other vet in town said he wouldnt make it past 10. When my sister took in a stray in the dead of winter and she had baby kittens within a week of us taking her in, Dr. Bleck helped us ensure the safety of the stray and kittens, as well as the safety of our two pets that we already had at home. There was another time when my sisters cat got out of the house and got bit by an animal. Another vet in town said she had to be put to sleep, practically sight unseen, Dr. Bleck looked further into the situation and helped us devise a plan to put her in quarantine and with medication to see if she had contracted rabies or not. She ended up being completely fine and remains a healthy and loving member of the family. He made sure our other pets safety was not compromised while giving us the time to make sure that a cat was not needlessly put to sleep. We would be without her if not for Dr. Bleck and his staff. He isnt greedy the way that some people are so he always tries to find the most cost-effective way to help a pet, and hes genuine and flexible. My puppy just had an emergency with her leg and despite a booked schedule, he found a way to see her and help her out. I trust everyone who works there. As I said before, its an ensemble cast. The vet techs and secretaries are extraordinarily patient, knowledgeable and helpful and have been instrumental in the health of our pets. I hope they read this because I want to thank them whole heartedly! Its really special to find a group of individuals who are as genuine and talented as these folks. Thank you so much!

Dr. Bleck and his staff are absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to have a friend suggest this office when we got our puppy and have since seen Dr. Bleck for years. My mother had previously been taking her dog to a local vet who had been charging about double what Family Friends charges and giving almost no care in the world for the pets they saw. When I finally convinced my mother to try Family Friends, she realized just how much she had been overcharged. She now pays half as much for the medications she needs to purchase monthly and is always greeted with smiles by the staff. I have since moved over an hour away from Dr. Blecks office but continue to bring my dog there for the simple reason that it is the best and most cost effective care around. I dont have to worry about being sold something unnecessary and I always know that my dogs needs are the first thing on Dr. Blecks mind.

Dr Baigelman was very knowledgeable and extremely good with my dog. She instantly liked the staff and him. I really liked that he is current on all the research and not trying to sell you exspensive foods. Come to find out only a small fraction of dogs are allergic to their food which Id been told to put my dog on different food at other vets. Great experience and very reasonable. It was a relief that he went ahead and gave my dog a Benadryl shot with another routine shot since she has bad reactions to certain shots. I am picky who I take my pup to and will definetly be back!

I love my dogs, as they are truly my babies. Family Friends are THE BEST place to bring your loved ones. The Drs and the staff treat your babies as you would treat them. We are there often because my dogs are 15 years old. However, thanks to Family Friends, Sugar and Spice will be around for a long time. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. If you love your animals, bring them here. They dont charge outrageous prices either. Kristen is the best at the front desk--she makes magic happen when you need an appointment and is extremely caring.

I agree with all the other reviews. Weve been taking our cavalier there for 8 years now. Dr. Bleck was originally recommended because he has "good ears" (i.e., good at picking out possible heart murmurs that are common in the breed). They are all very good at their jobs as well as having all the other characteristics that are important to a pet owner (knowledgeable, caring, available, cost appropriate, and so on).

Dr Bleck and his staff are the best! All are caring and its obvious that they all have a great love of animals. I cant say enough good things! I have great confidence in Dr Blecks abilities and I truly appreciate the quality of his work and his caring and compassion.

Both doctors are caring and thorough with care. I am very impressed, and it is not hard to get an apt. when needed quickly either. Very nice staff as well. They take care of both are dogs, and helped put down our two older cats with much care. Highly recommend.
