Dr. Dorsner and the Staff at the Cross Island Medical Center are the BEST! I can honestly say that Dr. Dorsner and the Staff at the Cross Island Medical Center saved my life.... I had the most horrible pneumonia and felt like I was going to die. They put me on a nebulizer machine, and antibiotics, cough syrup, and the list goes on. I ended up having to get shots, and be on steroids. It took many visits to monitor my progress, and they routinely followed up with phone calls to check up on me, which I have never had a Doctor here on Hilton Head EVER do! The Cross Island Medical Center is definitely the Best in my eyes, and I cant THANK THEM ENOUGH for ALL THEY DO! Thanks Again!

I am glad some have received adequate customer service & medical care BUT my husband hasnt. Unfortunately, he doesnt have a choice but to go to Cross Island weekly! He is a workers comp case. We have actually filed a complaint with the BBB because of misinformation of appointments/"No Appointment Necessary" and hours/days of operation as indicated on their card, racial discrimination and double billing.

Worst place ever and if I could give less than 1 star I would...the first visit the doctor said we had to come back since it was almost 5. So we went back and the worst experience ever...they said they numbed the location of the cyst but the entire time my husband was in pain. Went back a third time to get the stitches out and they left 3 of them in. Stay away if at all possible!!

The doctor and staff were all very friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable-Id gotten a bad infection in my ear while on vacation! When I had an allergic reaction to the meds, they saw me quickly the next day to help me out and didnt even charge me for that visit--such a relief to find people that actually care about your health!!!

I cannot say enough about the service i fortunately received at Cross Island Medical on friday afternoon. the staff was professional and very attentive to all my injuries. I walked out saving hundreds of dollars on x-rays and the information i needed to continue healing. thank you to all the staff!!! : )))

horrible experience. we were there 10 minutes after it opened with only three people in ahead of us and we left after waiting for almost 2 hours. nothing urgent about this place. Im given it 1 star only bc it wont allow me to leave 0.

Service has totally gone in last couple years. No one knows what the next is supposed to do. Very slow today patient wise and still in room now for 30 and hadnt seen a person, but sounds like the staff is having a good time!

Go anywhere else!! Had a cyst removed by a doctor with the worst bedside manner. Returned to get stitches removed and they left 3 out of the 6 in my back. Way to go doc! Thanks for reassuring me that doctors are the worst!
