I am a 72 year old male and over the years I have had plenty of occasions to interact with medical service providers. I have been a patient of Palmetto Eye & Laser Center for a number of years and prior to my 8-13-2014 appointment, I have always been seen by Doctor Billy Haguewood and there has never been a bad experience. Yesterdays appointment with Doctor Nicholson proved to be the most unpleasant medical encounter of my life. Doctor Nicholson was rude and extremely unpleasant to deal with. I will not go into details here but will be happy to discuss my concerns with Doctor Haguewood in a less public forum. From the behavior exhibited toward me, I think Doctor Nicholson is not a happy man and certainly does not enjoy his profession. In my opinion, Doctor Nicholson would do himself and the public a service by retiring or switching to a profession requiring less interaction with people. I will never see Doctor Nicholson again since I do not want to communicate with another human by "barking" at each other and that seems to be Doctor Nicholsons desired method of communicating.

I am a 71 year old man and I recently visited Palmetto Eye Care for tests to determine if I needed Cataract surgery. From the time I entered at the Reception desk, thru all of the tests and the final consultation with Doctor Jake Bostrom, I was treated with nothing but concern and respect. After the consultation the concern and respect continued. Everything was explained beforehand for each test and all options were fully explained. I have seen Doctor Haguewood and Doctor Wickliffe in the past and was treated the same way. In also have had eye lid surgery and regular eye exams with Doctor Bostrom and He and the Staff treated me excellent. I highly recommend Palmetto Eye & Laser Center for any of your vision needs. W.C. I went to Dr. Dille because I lost focus in one eye for over two hours. After waiting for close to an hour after my appointment I was blatantly told that I was wrong, that it HAD to have been the OTHER eye that lost focus (really? I cant tell my left from my right, for 2 hours?) and it was nothing more than DRY EYES. Zero focus, but its just dry eyes. Yeah. Went to a different doctor as soon as I could, because loss of focus in one eye can mean a complete blockage of vessels feeding the eye, I was diagnosed with ocular migraines, which is not treatable, but not dangerous.
