As a teen I had horrible crowded teeth and after getting braces I thought that would fix the issue. My teeth where finally straight after my braces came off. However, I never really liked my smile. As an adult I had noticed that my teeth where actually uneven! No wonder I had never liked my smile, even after the braces came off over a decade ago. Last year I visited Dr. Canto for the first time. I lived in Hawaii at the time and I was so excited to travel from so far away just to see her and have her fix my smile. I did my research on several different doctors and Dr. Canto poped out from the rest. So I decided to make an appointment with her (and I am so glad I did). As soon as I arrived I was greeted by her friendly staff at the front. Then I was guided to the waiting room. It wasnt long enough until I was called in. I was finally one on one with Dr. Canto. She immediately made me feel at home! Dr. Amanda Canto is not only a beautiful person inside and out, she is a professional that listened to my needs and worries and recommended the right treatment plan. After having the procedure done I almost cried with tears of joy! I couldnt hold myself back and even gave Dr. Canto a hug!! For the first time in years I felt confidently beautiful when smiling. I couldnt stop smiling everywhere I went. My husband, family and friends love my new smile. And the best part is that my smile looks so natural that when meeting new people they have no idea I had work done on my teeth. I am so grateful for Dr. Canto, she has given me a new type of confidence I thought would never be possible with my uneven teeth. She truly is an amazing person overall. I would describe Dr. Cantos work as artistic and always perfect. Today, I had my second treatment done after one year. This was new work for untouched teeth she recommended on my first visit a year ago. Because I was so busy moving from Hawaii to Maryland, I finally had a chance to make an appointment to go see her again. After the wonderful experience I had at her office, I would never dream of letting any other doctor touch my teeth for cosmetic work. I dont mind traveling from the other side of the world if I have to. As long as Dr. Canto is still around and available for me she will always have a loyal client in me.

I visited Cosmetic Dentists of Houston on July 26th for a routine cleaning and was seen by Dr. Daniel Escobedo. It was my first dental cleaning in a number of years; I had been without dental insurance for a while and was also hesitant about having my teeth cleaned due to previous experiences with other dentists. The front desk set up my first appointment within a week of initially calling and during a time that did not interfere with work - it’s wonderful they are open until 7pm! Dr. Escobedo and the dental assistant, Kayla, were excellent taking x-rays, cleaning my teeth, and explaining my options regarding fillings for my back molars. Within the hour, my teeth not only looked much better, they also felt healthier. After hesitating to have my molars filled during my initial visit, I called the next day to schedule and was told to come in that evening. The process was fast, easy, and relatively painless. Not only did Dr. Escobedo do a wonderful job filling my molars; Dr. Amanda Canto personally came to ensure my visit to the practice was as best as could be! She reassured me that my dental health was their top concern and made me feel right at home. I am greatly appreciative of her helpfulness during a stressful situation for me. Her office staff was absolutely amazing. They were able to work with me on payment options for the fillings needed. They were very reasonable and extremely accommodating. Danika was extraordinarily helpful in explaining my insurance coverage; I am so appreciative of all her help! Thank you so much, you helped make the process so much easier for me. I look forward to returning to Cosmetic Dentists of Houston to continuing making my teeth look and feel healthier than ever. Thank you so much for the wonderful visits!

Throughout my life, I had been very self-conscious about the gaps in my front teeth, and I would rarely smile for photos. After several years, I decided to finally do something about it. I saw how highly recommended Dr. Canto was, so I figured I’d give her a chance. When I went for my consultation, before she even had a look at my teeth, Dr. Canto and I had a 45 minute conversation where she asked what I wanted done, what my oral habits were, how did I want to look, and why? I instantly felt comfortable talking to her and was pleasantly surprised by her wanting to get to know me. I was very excited when I left and was ready to give her a five-star review for the consult alone! When I was about to finalize my plans for my dental bonding a few weeks later, I called her office to see if I could talk to her to go over some aspects of the procedure. Sure enough, she called me the next day to talk and thoughtfully answered all my questions. After that I was sold. The procedure was completely painless and Dr. Canto always kept me informed of what exactly she was doing and whether I was comfortable. After everything was finished, I was in disbelief that my smile looked so natural, it honestly looked like I had those teeth my whole life…the smile I always wanted. Dr. Canto holds herself to a standard that I have never seen any other professional match. She not just an incredible dentist, but an artist with a perfectionists touch. She makes it her priority that you will not leave her office until both you and her are satisfied. I sincerely doubt there is another dentist that can match her skill and legitimate care for every one of her patients. Thank you Dr. Canto and all of your wonderful assistants!

I am delighted and honored to give a GLOWING review to my recent experiences with Dr. Amanda Canto and her staff. In a few words: This has been the best healthcare service of any kind I have ever received. Unlike so much of what healthcare has become in this country -- just one more way to make a lot of money with little regard for the quality of the service delivered -- Dr. Canto and her staff have the welfare of their patients as their priority at all times. Their professionalism and care is shown in everything they do, and at every step of the process, from the very first call one makes to the office, until they kindly remind one to validate the parking ticket on the way out. I have had cleaning and more recently rehabilitation done, and the level of professionalism was just outstanding. But, always combined with warmth and charm. As a scientist and teacher, I was most impressed by how accurate, yet simple their explanations were on what problems I had and the possible solutions. During the rehabilitation, I felt expert, experienced and yet delicate, artistic hands working on my mouth: it was even pleasurable! It truly is a holistic approach to healthcare, and…it works beautifully! In summary: Dr. Canto’s clinic should be considered among the top health-service providers in Houston (not just dental), and if I would have to summarize it, I’d rename their clinic as “The Houston Spa for Dental Care”.
