Love this place. I had ear pain and loss of hearing and had visited another ENT and after 3 visits I had no improvement and actually was getting worse. Houston Sinus and Allergy was night and day better than the other ENT place. On each one of those three visits to the other ENT, it was difficult to get the receptionists attention, I was treated rudely and on one of my three visits I waited over an hour to see the doctor even though I had an appointment. At Houston Sinus and Allergy, you are greeted as soon as you open the door, appointments are honored and your time is respected. In my 2 visits to Houston Sinus and Allergy, I was in and out of the office in under 30 minutes. After visiting the first ENT, I spent a Friday night in pain and on Saturday morning I had blood in my ear. I called every ENT in Harris County, of course none were open, and I left no messages at any of the places that I called. But on Monday, Houston Sinus and Allergy called me back even though I left no message and they scheduled me for a visit that same day. Houston Sinus and Allergys attention to the patient started from that Saturday call and continues to this day. As for Dr Nguyen, he ended a month of my suffering in one visit. He determined that the other ENT was treating the wrong diagnosis and he took a culture of my ear and started treatment on the right diagnosis. When I left his office after the first visit, I could hear better and I had less pain in my ear. 10 days later I went for a follow-up visit and my hearing was still improved and I had no ear pain. I highly recommend Dr Nguyen and Houston Sinus and Allergy.

Not impressed. Before ever looking at me or my medical history, they play an advertising video to promote a procedure, and they have drug promotions playing on other screens constantly. The scale is not accurate, so they elevate your weight. They do not follow proper methods to measure blood pressure: the cuff seems to be for a child, they put it over my shirt, they measure without ensuring that the arm is above the heart, and they talk to you while measuring. If my blood pressure was as high as they claimed; the fact that they panicked would be enough to make them liable for any stress-related problems. If you want to have a doctor treat you with a procedure, that he decided on before he ever knew you; or you want to have pharmaceuticals pimped to you, maybe this is the place for you. It is easy to find a doctor who is bought and paid for by the drug companies, or who is going to push whatever procedure makes them the most profit; that is what you get here.

Dr. Nguyen was fabulous. The septoplasty procedure went great; however, because of an affinity of mine for juicing my favorite blood thinning foods--ginger, garlic, beets, turmeric, etc.--I experienced some minimal post-operation bleeding. After I got home, I called the office to let Dr. Nguyen know that my nose was leaking blood and he had me come back to see him--even as his office was scheduled to close. Dr. Nguyen stayed past business hours to find from where I was bleeding and he then successfully sealed up the leaking blood vessel. I was extremely impressed with what a hard working and dedicated professional that Dr. Nguyen is and I just know deep down that this type of treatment wasnt just unique to me, he would treat all his patients with this same level of care. Thanks, Dr. Nguyen, for making happen what I once thought impossible: being able to breath clearly through my own two nostrils.

This doctors office is terrible and gave their patient bad services. Ive never received this bad of service. I came here because my ear was hurting and Ive gotten information from the ER doctor to go to a specialist. The nurse wasnt thorough with the information she was giving me and said it in a rude tone saying that if any problem happens it wont be their fault. Since I havent received any treatment I asked for my personal information but they didnt and didnt treat me like a person. I called the cops and he told me to report this office because patients shouldnt be treated this way. I am very disappointed and outrageous about the fact that Ive received this service. This place isnt treating people right.

Dr. Nguyens office is a win. From the first phone call with the kind receptionist, Maggie, to the stellar care & concern from his assistants Anna, Diana, and Vanessa, everyone here are kind & courteous. Unlike some doctor offices, I feel like an actual patient & not a number here. The wait time is never long. I recently had the balloon sinuplasty & turbinate reduction surgery. Just 3 weeks out, Dr. Nguyen tells me there were zero complications & that I am recovering on schedule, & I believe him. I have not been able to breathe clearly for many years. My sense of smell is much better. I am moving out of the area soon and plan to keep in touch with these nice people. I am very thankful.

Dr. Nguyen and his friendly staff and excellent nurse are my angels, I am blessed and glad to had them, because theyre the best in town, very professional, they worked with my difficult work schedule, my surgery was easy process, I am a lot better. This is the type of doctor and team we need to have on every clinic in Houston. I am very happy because I dont have no more blocked in my sinus, no more headache face pain, I can breathe perfectly now, even my surgery was few days ago, I feeling a lot better, definitely I recommend this doctor to everyone in town has any type of sinus allergy problems, this doctor is very smart with a lot of experience and knowledge.

Had sinus surgery, Now, I have constant sinus infection. It will take $200.00 a month for compounding medicine and a little under $100.00 for the nebulizer. Anesthesiologist tried to make me pay almost $8.000.00 Finally my insurance paid more to them. They were not happy with what the insurance company allowed and she the doctor had agreed. Be aware of what he agree. Research, research and get multiple medical opinions. Or do not do anything, may be better off.

Great experience! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and everyone at the office was very nice. I had been having problem with a clogged ear, the doctor came in and examined my ear and told me he would need to clean it. The nurse explained everything thoroughly before anything happened and it took less than 5 minutes for the doctor to clean my ear. Extremely happy with the service I received! And would go back again!

The entire staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Maggie was helpful setting up your appointment and getting the proper paperwork to you. They explained what insurance would cover and how much your co-pay would be before your visit. The doctor and his assistant explained everything in detail what is working what isnt and what we should work on. Im glad I found The Houston Sinus and Allery Clinic!

Dr. Nguyen is very passionate about his job and makes sure that you know what is happening in each step of the procedure. The operation went smoothly and I recovered quick. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. I can easily breathe through both nostrils and I would recommend everyone to do this operation!
