Summary of my visits January and February 2016: I will gladly leave a 1000 ⭐️ review because everyone Ive had the pleasure of meeting at Vision Source are exceptional. I come from a family of over reactors and drama queens so its imperative that we have a great understanding of any health issues that may arise. Dr. Robertson and Dr. White put my mind at ease when they took caring time to explain my eye infection which I inadvertently passed on to my son. I have never been so cared for by anyone in the medical field like theyve cared for me and Im so thankful. I didnt even hesitate to bring my son in for a visit when his symptoms got worse! You all are amazing, and very much valued by me! Many thanks to Dr. White and Ariel for going out of your way to comfort my son! Even if he didnt seem grateful, we most certainly are for your kindness and empathy! Dr. Robertson, I may exceed the character count to thank you!!! You have gone above and beyond to cater to my eye infection! Your assistance to my recovery warrants so much more than a thank you so Ill offer this, how kind you have been to nurse my achy, running, swollen eyes back to good health. Your actions will never be forgotten. From my tears ducts to my scleras, we express our most sincerest gratitude. Keep up the most honorable work Vision Source team!!! You are now my familys optometrists of choice!!!!

Just moved to the area, I discovered this place while searching for optometrists who accept my vision insurance. The waiting area is clean and neat, and I didnt wait long. The staff is professional and friendly, the doctor herself was very professional and informative. I didnt feel rushed through the exams. I told her about some past issues Ive had with my eyes while using contacts, she investigated them and explained to me what she could see and why my eyes were irritated in the past. After a week of wearing the newly prescribed contacts and following the instructions she gave me so that I dont irritate my eyes again, she scheduled a checkup and investigated again. I havent felt any discomfort since following her instructions and I can show off my large colorful eyes again. I left feeling confident about the decisions made for my eyes, not to mention the amazing rebate offer the staff informed me about for the brand I was prescribed. Im looking forward to going back later for glasses.

I have known Dr. Rodney Robertson for 10+ years. Hes treated myself, my wife, and my 3-grown children for contact lens/glasses. He is very professional, experienced, and takes the utmost care in examining our eyes not only for better vision, but any eye problems we might have. (He was so good at examining my youngest daughters eyes several years ago, that he spotted corneal tears which ultimately saved my daughters vision, a problem all other doctors routinely missed.) Dr. Robertsons eye care is the reason we continue to see him to this day. I give him a much deserved 5-stars for service, selection, professionalism, and above else, true eye care. Of all the Optometrists/Ophthalmologists I have been too, Dr. Rodney Robertson at "Vision Source" in Mesquite TX is, and remains, the very best! I encourage anyone needing contact lens or glasses to visit him and his awesome staff for exceptional eye-care.

My wife and I have gone to Dr. Robertson for eye care for nearly 10 years because he and his staff are truly excellent. Ive had difficulty in the past getting a good prescription because of my horrible vision, but Dr. Robertson nails my prescription each year without fail. No eye strain, discomfort, blurriness, etc, just 20/20 corrected vision. And thats saying something. My vision is so bad that if I lived at a time before glasses existed, Im certain I would be eaten by some large animal! Dr. Robertson excels at fitting contacts as well. I tried off and on for 20 years to find contacts that I could wear but never had any success until Dr. Robertson. Due to his patience, persistence, and skill, Ive had contacts for the last several years that I can comfortably wear all day and see just as well as with my glasses. Additionally, his staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Children are so unwelcome here. The playroom is highly infested, another customer warned me against it after her little boys legs were covered with large red sores within mins... The staff were unconcerned even after this is pointed out. Lucky I had my full strength insect repellent in the diaper bag! Several members of staff repeatedly grabbed child-like display items out of my sons hands. My husband was so angry our business will absolutely go elsewhere. With some of the dirty looks that some staff put our way, it obvious our exit was a relief! We are in fact retail business owners too. I understand how children get into things, but we welcome children sincerely and work even harder to engage those customers, when you welcome a child, you welcome that childs entire family to become shareholders of your business. Any CEO worth their salt knows this. A missed opportunity.

I spent 2 hours researching eye doctors and finally settled on Dr. Robertson SOLELY based on experience, knowledge and ratings from data available online. Upon waiting, Vision Source played a "switch-a-roo" on my visit and stated Dr. Robertson was unavailable and another unknown doctor walked in to continue my exam. This is UNACCEPTABLE and I immediately wanted to walk out. I should have and in the future, I will not let others dictate this outcome. 100% unprofessional and unacceptable treatment to your new patients who place their trust in a doctor who they THOUGHT they were going to be see. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH NOR CAN THIS LITTLE SECTION OF COMMENTS EXPLAIN THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND LET DOWN THIS MEANT TO ME DURING MY VISIT AT VISION RESOURCE. On a lighter note, Staff was FANTASTIC. Thank you Staff for your kindness and professionalism (Whitney and Andrea).

Having been more than 10 years since my last eye appointment, I had the most pleasant experience at Vision Source Mesquite during my recent visit. I was greeted promptly and courteously by Whitney the receptionist. Her smile and energy were very warm and welcoming. Abby was extremely helpful in helping me to pick the frames that were right for me. Her thorough explanation of the options available to me with my lenses aided me in my decision-making process. Dr. Terri White is passionate about her work and comprehensive in explaining how my particular health condition may impact my vision as well as ways in which to maintain the health of my eyes. Again, I had a most pleasant experience!

Worst experience ever. If you ask for something they will tell you a lie and say they have it when they dont. Glasses and frames are very cheep!!!. Dont waste your money. If something goes wrong, and it will, they will take forever to help your correct it or just tell you there is nothing they can do for you. And dont expect a call you will have to keep calling...and calling to get help. Then they will tell you the same story over and over, while time flies by and nothing gets done.That is after they got your money. Scratch guard is No guard, non existent. In the end you get stuck with the scratched up lenses and broken frame.

Thank you Andrea making my visit very pleasant, Im very picky and hard to please so I appreciate your patience and the will to help me find the perfect glasses! At first I thought the glasses here were going to be out of my price range but was very happy to know you worked within my budget found 2 pairs at a great price,very affordable. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
