I have been using All Community Animal Hospital in Porter for over 6 years now. I have two small dogs and one of them that has seizures. He was initially diagnosed with seizures at this vet and put on a medication program that has controlled his seizures very well and given him a good quality of life. Dr. Otto was very attentive to watching his blood work closely when he started his medication to check for adverse affects. We also get his allergy shots here, as well as, both pets yearly vaccinations and check ups. When we travel we board our dogs here. It makes me so happy when we drop them off and my little furry babies are happy to see the techs. They wag their tails and get excited. :) These ladies are always so very sweet and take great care of them. Our dog with seizures has never had any seizures after being boarded there which tells me they are properly medicating him. Ive boarded them elsewhere when VitalPet was booked up and he had seizures for several days afterwards. I cant say enough about how satisfied I am with the staffs care of our animals. This is a terrific place to take your pets.

I went here with a kitten less than 2 months old. He had a bad infection in his arm and I took him to the emergency room then here as follow up. The emergency room was more kind then this place. The receptionist and other pet owners were really nice and sweet. But when I was sent back to see the vet, I was treated like I was the one who abused the kitten. The kitten was brought to me by an outdoor cat along with 4 other kittens. The emergency room said that one of the other kittens probably bit him while playing and gave him the infection. But this place made me feel terrible. There was no warmth from the medical staff. Yes, the kitten had fleas. He came to me from being outside and all the flea treatments said he was too young. He later died in my arms. He was just too little and weak. I did my best. I dont know if this place was helpful or not, but their bedside manor has something less than desirable.

Wish i could give less then a star! This place is horrible all they care about is money. I tried to take my sick puppy there and they chalked me up with all these meds that never helped that i HAD to pay for! And she just kept getting worse so i come back next day to have them put her down and out of missery. They couldnt find the Vet come to find out he is out and will be back "later" no one could call him or do anything! The vet techs they have their are dumb as hell cant find a vein or anything. So while we "have" to sit here at wait for the vet. my puppy layin on that table starts breathing strangly... And she just died right there on the table she suffered till the end because of these incompetent morons! And they still made me pay for everything even the visit she died in THEIR care! And they charge you for an appointment for flea treament!

This place is hit or miss. Ive gone in with my dogs and gotten great service, and other times its horrible. Unfortunately, as of this week, more horrible, and I will not return. I do like the vets and techs, but the receptionists were totally rude to everyone they were helping this weekend. They had no patience for anyone, no compassion for the animals. If you dont like animals, you shouldnt be in this line of work. And talk about gouging. They knit-pick about this, that, and the other, and before you leave - your bill is 85% MORE than expected. And how can you lose records, when services where rendered at your location. How can your system not jive with all the bills Ive paid. The receptionists are why Im taking my business elsewhere. Ill pass on any chance theyll ever be handling my dogs. No thanks.

I have 4 pups and every single one of them has gone through this office. They are patient, understanding and treat my pups as if they were theirs. As expected every single one of my pups have different temperaments but they do their best to make them feel at ease. Twice I had to come in without making an appointment and so it been my choice I understood (by common sense) I needed to wait a little longer but still was treated with respect by techs and the Vet. I noticed someone leaving a review that they were discriminated for being Hispanic but I am Hispanic and I have never felt discriminated in the last two years I have been here. They do get busy on Saturdays (should give you a hint as to why) so if you go in without an appointment expect to wait between 30 minutes to an hour.

Unless you have deep pockets to try and help your Animal get better you arent going to get help. My newborn kitten was sick and needed a antibiotic. He got .2 cc and I was charged 26 dollars. The whole bottle doesnt cost that if you bought it for Livestock. My dog went in and for a Blood panel, saline, and antibiotics it was 324 dollars. They expressed her anal glands and after spending that much money you think they might do something for free but nope they tacked it on as well for the most expensive anal gland expression I have ever paid for. I find it disappointing vets dont want to help anymore its all about squeezing out the next dollar. I got a quote for fixing my female dog and it was more than double than the most expensive quote I had gotten from any other vets office.

Both times Ive had the pleasure of doing business at All Community Animal Hospital Ive left with nothing but the feeling of total and complete satisfaction; especially with the staff and the professionalism. Even though the first time we had to race to the animal hospital with a terminally sick long-time family relative, our cat Merlin; we were attended to immediately and tenderly; especially upon learning that Merlin would not be returning home with us. They all made an horribly emotional event bearable with sensitive, caring and completely classy behavior: every single one. This is the reason weve brought our new kitten back - and our other rescue adoption will have care there also, as needed. To us, theres no place else but All Community Animal Hospital.

BAD experience with this vet. Our dog is diabetic and they would not sign off on syringes through 1-800-PET-MEDS because the vet we saw just 2 months ago has left the practice. Insisted I bring him in for a "meet and greet" with a new vet. This is unacceptable to me and I wont be returning to this operation. I called my previous vet Lake Houston Animal Hospital in Huffman and they are providing the syringes for my dog ASAP! I had reservations about this place because of its affiliation with a large corporation.....should have listened to my gut.

Ive never been to a vet that treats my pet with such love and care. My overall experience was fantastic from the moment I walked in the door! The receptionist took care of me very quickly and got me checked in and I waited no more than 10 minutes for the technician to come and get me into a room! The Dr. was AWESOME and new exactly what medicines to give my pet and now he is doing much, much better! The staff as a whole is flawless. Everything was done quickly and with a smile! I will continue to take my pets here as long as I have them.
