I can not express the comfort and care I received at Bandera rd animal hospital. I am a furr mommy and I love my dog just like my child. Dr. Lori and Shelly calmed my nerves as my Pug not even 2 years old had a growth on his foot. I was thinking the worst, cancer, tumors and many things. They scheduled surgery to remove within a day and I found out was just a rare thing. I was kept informed of tests and brought my baby boy back for follow ups and received the same care, concern and professionalism as I did from day 1. Dr. Vara is not like the huge chain vets...she cares! Her assistant Shelly not only was amazing with my baby but obviously has a love for animals. I have had horrible experiences in my past. This experience changed my whole outlook on vetrenan places. Its obvious, they love what they do. Very rare find!

The staff are so nice, and Dr Vara is the sweetest person Ive met. Very calm and gentle in her mannerisms, and has the knowledge and experience which simply radiates confidence in her profession. The building may not be shiny and new, but I trust this clinic completely.
