Dr. Killi is awful! He was so rough with my laid back Great Pyrenees that she tried to bite him. This is a dog who lets infants hang off the fur on her muzzle to stabilize themselves. We gave him the benefit of a doubt and used him once more to put our 15yo tailed Manx cat down in March 2016(had him since he was 3wks old). My husband, 14yo son and I were there for the procedure. Dr. Killi was cold, he didnt explain the procedure, causing my son to cry before he should have and didnt offer and care, support or condolences. Please, beware of dr. Killi! We put a note on our account stating to never schedule a visit with him again. I can say Dr. Fernandez is an excellent, caring and informative vet. We have had a few wonderful visits with him. Also, the staff seem nice, but not over friendly or caring. No offers of kindness to our family after the euthanasia of our wonderful cat. Overall, I expect more of a practice when taking my animals to be seen. We were also charged almost $500 for a simple uti diagnosis. I grew up in a vet clinic, on a dairy farm with mobile vets that did not require us to leave our animals at their clinic ALL day to take a urine sample to diagnose a simple uti when the symptoms clearly pointed to an infection.

This is an awesome clinic! I have looked into changing vets because they are a bit far for me but as I call around for price comparison they cost the same as the ones in my neighborhood. I have been going here for several years now and have lost a pet from old age who hated vets at all costs and he absolutely loved the staff! I have 2 puppies I recently rescued and they LOVE going to the vet because the staff is so sweet to them. I have used their boarding services and will continue to do so because my dogs always come home happy! The staff and vets always explain what is going on and what they are doing and how much items cost. :) 5 star rating by myself and my furbabies!!

We just adopted a 2 year old terrier mix named Summer from the Animal Defense League and took her Stone Oak Vet Clinic for an exam. Dr. Hall and the technician staff took excellent care of our dog who is still a little nervous and shy at the moment. They were able to address all of our questions and concerns and put us - as new pet owners - at ease. The new patient exam was free of charge, her two shots were reasonably priced, but the nail trimming fee was a little steep at $18. We will be returning to Stone Oak Vet Clinic for all of Summers future vet needs.

Dr. Fernandez is friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our schnauzer spent a whole week at Vital-Pet Stone Oak, and she came back a happy puppy. I have boarded our dog at other places, and sometimes she comes back sick or sluggish. I was very happy that our dog was herself and healthy as could be. She also got groomed while she was there and she looked adorable. I will continue to take Buttercup to Vital-Pet Stone Oak and would definitely board her there again.

Ive been taking my pets to this clinic for over 10 years and have been very happy with the care theyve received there. All the staff are very polite, friendly and genuinely care about you and your pet. Their love for animals is evident as soon as you walk in. Dr. Fernandez is excellent! Hes very knowledgeable and personable and he takes the time to explain any conditions your pet has and what treatments he/she needs without rushing you out the door. I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else!

I have been taking both of my cats to Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic since I moved back to San Antonio in 2010. They have always provided top-notch service as what I consider to be reasonable and competitive prices, and have taken excellent care of both kitties. Dr. Fernandez is professional and personable, easy to talk to regarding any issues I might have. I have always found the staff courteous and professional as well. Dr. Fernandez is the best vet! My pets actually like going to the vet because the staff know how to make my pets feel like it’s” just another day at the park”. Dr. Fernandez takes time to listen to me and always calls me within 24 hours if I have a question about my pet. The staff is really knowledgeable and I trust their advice and medical knowledge. They really seem concerned when I have a animal emergency and get me the help I need for my pets very quickly.

I dont trust the vets here. I feel like they try to just tack on as many charges as possible to increase the amount of money they get. This is a nice part of town and they know the clients are willing to pay big money for their pets. No matter how clean your dogs teeth, they will tell you the need to be put under general anesthesia for a cleaning and they need fancy dog food that cleans their teeth and fancy mouthwash.

Staff in the back is great. Front desk staff is rude and cold to clients. One of the girls puppy tried to run after my dog after barking and growling at it. The girls at the front act like they are better than their clients. As I was walking out I said "have a nice day" and they didnt even look at me. I was the only client there. I love the staff who actually handles my pet but the girls at the front are rude.

We Love Dr. Fernandez and the staff at VitalPet-Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic. Dr.Fernandez is very knowledgeable and caring and provides excellent care for all 3 of our dogs. We even board our pets with them when we leave town. We have had two pet emergencies in the past two year and the entire staff has been extremely empathetic and caring. Our family highly recommends Dr. Fernandez and his staff!

You can constantly hear dogs whining and crying out in pain clear across the street. I was very hesitant to take my dog there. And once I did, very bad customer service. Walked in and was ignored by the 5 workers that were there. 3 ladies walked in after me and were helped before me, took about 20 before I was even asked what I needed, just to be told they couldnt help me, come back later....

We have been taking our pets to Stone Oak for 16 years. The staff is always courteous and very helpful. They treat your pets as though they were there own. Dr. Fernandez is great with the animals. He is genuinely concerned with their health. If there is a medical issue, he explains everything, so you can understand. I highly recommend Vital Pet-Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic.

This is a great facility! The entire staff is very friendly and you can tell they love animals right when you walk in the door. The prices are competitive (especially for the area) and Dr. Fernandez is extremely personable and knowledgeable. Ive also used their boarding services, which are extremely competitively priced. My dog loves going to her vet appointments here!
