Called on a Saturday at 10:15am and the man who answered the phone barks "hold please" and before you can even agree hes gone. Youre sitting there already turned off about the possibility of taking your pet there. I hung up after 4 minutes of hold. Waited 15 mins and called back to the same thing happening again. Waited a minute and he came on the line, no smile in his tone, sounding put out. I asked how long they were open and he said "12 and we are completely booked, no open appointments today", before I could speak. In my mind I thought Wow! I said "with the way you answer the phone I wont be bringing my pet there" and his response "Oh Well!" Dr Spence, you might want to take a look at your front staff and think about getting rid of them after you take a peep at your declining # of patients. Good luck with that wrecking ball!

Very very disappointing my boyfriend has been taking his dogs here the past 8yrs or longer and last 5xs we been here very rude , we rushed up here so we can make it before 6 I thought when they closed we get inside and she replys mins before they close were about to close in a minute, I respond ur sign sign says 6! She replys " well the sign is lying to you, we close at 5:30 rolls her eyes I responded to let her know that she prolly should change it if she wants to leave at 5:30 then My boyfriend asked the lady how her dad was going she replied busy looked him down and kept her self busy to where she didnt feel he was there! We wont return with the help of the actual vet that was working there too this over did it,wont return to such sorry ass crew that is not professional in any damn way too bad I cant give any stars

This office has free roaming cats. My cat was recently attacked by those cats, and they refused to take any action; in fact, they chastised us for calling. I was informed by others that this clinic is currently being investigated as this same issue has been discussed with them in the past, and they have been warned. Do NOT spend a dime with this clinic. They are unprofessional, discourteous, inappropriate, and have no business being in business.

Dr. Spence was very knowledgeable regarding many issues my dogs have been having after moving to East Texas from West Texas. Additionally, he is very skeptical of new drugs on the market and will not recommend them until they have withstood the test of time. Many vets will use new products just for the extra money. I appreciate that he does not fall into that category.

Ive been using Dr. Spence since 1998. He has taken care of all four dogs. He is so knowledgeable. My family, human and dog, have always been treated warmly and with compassion. I will use Dr. Spence till either I have no pets, or he retires. Hes way too young to retire anytime soon!
