STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! My experience going to this dentist center is the worst dentist experience of my life. The staff was extremely unfriendly and condescending. They gave me the are you stupid look every time I asked them questions that were important to me. The dentists are greedy, racist, and abusive. This one dentist insisted on having me do this costly cosmetic procedure even when I emphatically told her that I did not want it. She then left the room as if I was the one who was being rude. I came for a cleaning but had to wait for 3 hours. Even then, the cleaning dentist would leave the room every 10 minutes for no apparent reasons. Later I found out that she was trying to serve TWO PATIENTS at the same time!!! I asked her why this was so, and she replied it was my fault for schedule my appointment on Saturday and this would not happen if I were to schedule it on a weekday. As if that was not enough for me to avoid this place for life, this lady dentist was so out of line that she physically hit her assistants hand in front of me and verbally abused the assistant! The dentist sometimes referred to her assistant derogatorily as "black" in her native language, which she did not notice that I understood her. The assistant was an African-American young woman. That was when I had enough. I stood up and walked out of there, thinking my nightmare was over. But unfortunately, no. They later billed me and my insurance for the service that they never performed. I was so determined to kick their butts that despite all the bills they mailed me, I informed my insurance about the incident and DID NOT PAY THEM A PENNY. I also made sure that my insurance only pay them for the x-rays but not the check-up and cleaning because they never provided those services. I told all my family about this and they said they were proud that I stood up to those horrible dentists. Please dont waste your time and money. Save yourself from one of the worst troubles there is.

Im not here to either belittle or contradict someone elses opinion of this office. If they had bad experiences, so be it. Their opinions, however, are entirely different than those of my family and I and, as a result, I am definitely surprised by the negative feedback. I am writing to provide honest personal feedback of my interactions with the Arlington Center for Dentistry. My wife, daughter and I have been going to ACD for a little over three years and have been extremely pleased with the services, from appointment scheduling, to check in to procedures and finally to check out. Everyone we have encountered at ACD has been kind and thorough, with a high level of quality to the services themselves. Moreover, since we are trying to juggle three appointments at once, I very much appreciate their attention to keeping schedules. The office itself is very open and inviting with a great little place for kids to play some video games while waiting. The kids exam room is very bright and lively with televisions for the children to get their minds off the exams and procedures. I wouldnt say my daughter loves going to the dentist, much like her father, but the friendliness of the staff definitely takes the edge off. My wife and I are also very pleased with the services we have had. They are very thorough and what I like is that they never push for additional procedures. Having been to numerous dentists in the decade we have lived in the DMV area, we absolutely love ACD and would never even consider going another route.

I dont believe anyone actually enjoys going to the dentist, but since we all have to go, finding the right dentist is key. ACD is a great practice! Staff is friendly and attentive, the facilities are as plush as they come, and their hours are beyond reasonable. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because their billing department isnt the greatest. It takes months for ACD to bill individual insurances, and their patient ledgers are often inaccurate. UPDATE: I initially gave this practice 4 stars, but I am downgrading them to 1. I have been a patient of ACD for a number of years, but I have decided to stop going there. The doctors and the facility are still great, but their billing department is an absolute nightmare. I constantly have to call them to get them to file with insurance. Im charged co-pays when I shouldnt be, and the worst part is that it takes them so long to file the claims that in one instance my insurance denied the claim all together on the basis of timely filing. Its a shame, this is an otherwise great practice, but I cant deal with the ineptitude of their billing department anymore.

First off, I dont usually write reviews, but my experience with this place has been so horrible I want to warn others to steer clear of this center! I had all my wisdom teeth extractions done here. In terms of the actual service, I had no issues. My main issue is with their incompetent staff. For my procedure I was quoted to only pay $200-$300 out of pocket (after insurance) and confirmed with them 3 times this would be the final amount bc I didnt want to be surprised later on. I had documentation to prove all this. 1 month later they change their tune and say the procedure was actually 3 times the amount I was quoted, and that whoever gave me the initial quote had made a mistake. End result, they wouldnt reimburse the full amount that was due to me and I had to pay close to $1K out of pocket. If they had been clear about the cost from the very beginning, I wouldnt have even removed all of my wisdom teeth! Dont be fooled by their pristine office. Theyre only able to afford it bc they basically deceive and rob their patients. BE WARNED!

I have been a patient at several dental offices in the area, and Arlington Center for Dentistry has a few customer service issues that need to be addressed. Communication among the front desk staff is not up-to-par with others in the area. One of the staff members (Dayana) was very rude in tone and was not able to direct me to the manager (and even not knowing their managers schedule--how do you not know when your supervisor comes into the office) after I had an issue with a procedure, forcing me to have to reschedule. She was more concerned with informing me of the cancellation fee that I had to pay instead of getting my questions/concerns answered. But, my other interactions with the other staff members has been reasonable (they were pretty friendly). As far as my procedures completed, the medical professionals were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. With an expansive, well-designed office, its too bad that the customer service leaves a bit to be desired.

I was looking for a pediatric dentist and this place is the best! Dr. Lan is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to answer your questions. My son had such a good experience that we took my older daughter who was terrified of dentists from an earlier bad experience. My daughter trusts Dr. Lan which is amazing to me. We love the fact that there are weekend appointments and an orthodontist in the same practice! When my mom chipped a tooth flying in for a visit, they got her in to see one of the dentists for grown ups right away and helped her to get through until she went back home. I will admit that the check out can be a little slow, but they are friendly and helpful. I realized that I couldnt find my receipt when tax time came and emailed them and they sent me a new one via email the same afternoon.
