Over $600 with the female vet and still no definite answers on my dog. Charged for a full physical amd she didnt even check my dogs ears. Come on! I had to fight a follow up appointment and was charged for that ...still didnt check my dogs ear. Third appointment ..i demanded the ears to be checked ..she took a quick look and said they looked fine. I refused to pay one dime more for this third visit. No answers and many tests done - ocular and labwork ...all relatively normal. I dont mind paying for a test if its for something that is in the ballpark that could be wrong. However EVERYTHING that she did ...was GROSSLY overcharged. DO NOT just allow them to provide you any meds for you pet there ...you will pay 1000% higher than you can get elsewhere. Would I recommend her? Hell no. Maybe Dr. Daily is better.

I have been taking my pets to Valley Vets since the practice opened over thirty years ago in Harrisonburg. I have always had excellent experiences with the doctors, as well as the entire support staff. They have helped our animals live to very old ages (18, 15, 16 years). They have been tremendous support in all situations, from adapting to rescue dogs and their special needs, making end-of-life decisions and coping with my tears, and answering any crazy questions I have. There have been many of those! This staff treats animals with the utmost of respect, and they understand their individual needs. They will teach you how to be the best possible forever home for your pet. We are fortunate to have this quality of care available.

Ive never had a bad experience at Valley Vets. Ive seen both vets there for various reasons for YEARS and have always been very pleased! I feel they are very thorough and always answer my questions. The staff is also really nice and helpful. Ive called to follow up with questions after an appointment and have always gotten a quick, helpful response. Ive also boarded my pets there and they were happy and clean when I picked them up. If you cant pay for your pets care then please dont get a pet..the prices here are great anyway for the top-notch care Ive always received! Dr. Daly and Dr. Strickland are both excellent and very experienced and are the ONLY vets in this area I will trust!

Ive been taking my mountain feist here since she was a puppy. Theyve always been extremely helpful, from the vets to the office staff! My dog got into some BC headache powder one morning and they fit me in first thing that morning,. They gave me an itemized report that included every possible charge that may be associated with it, which I appreciated. There were no surprise charges once everything was said and done. Ive been to them for everything, from puppy vaccines, adult vaccines, spaying, and a few emergency visits and Ive been extremely pleased every time. My baby girl loves it here and so do I!

I am a dog groomer and let me tell you Dr. Daly is INCREDIBLE. I have been around dogs my whole life and have cycled through many vets. Dr. Daly is at the top if not the top. Every time I visited with my chihuahua pup he spent TIME with me and would play with my puppy and ask detailed questions and seemed to have VERY in depth knowledge of his field. Now that I have moved to another state I wish I had Dr. Daly. I would do anything to take my dog back to Harrisonburg just to see him. Wonderful man. Incredible vet. Would recommend to everyone.

I have been taking my pets to Valley Vets since they opened 25+ years ago and I never would go anywhere else!!!! They are caring and attentive. They always fit me in when there is an acute situation. They provide complete care. From Dr Daly being an amazing, gifted surgeon to Dr Strickland being an expert at geriatric and oncology. They care and love my pets like they are their own. Take your pets to Valley. You will not be disappointed.

We are travel nurses so our dog ends up with a different vet every year. I have to say that this place is very friendly from start to finish. Dr. Daly is extremely knowledgeable, kind and does not rush. They make sure you are on the right course and have all of the treatment you need, i.e. Heartgard and other supplies that are available to us over the counter in pet stores. We will definitely back if we are in the area

well I have two beagles and ever since Ive got them Ive always brought them here. When we got our beagles, we got them very sick and to the point of dying and I took them immediately. They gave them the examination and everything and got our little puppies very healthy and strong. Thanks to them they are happy with us and likes going there also. I highly recommend to take your pets here. Thank you valley vet!!

I brought my old dog to see these doctors from out of town on recommendation from friends. Instead of being shuffled through and pushed out the door as fast as possible, they spent time with me and my dog. Looked past the obvious and dug deep for answers. Having these doctors in Harrisonburg is a huge asset to pet owners there. Take advantage of it.

They are always really busy and it doesnt feel like they have the time to take care of their clients like they should. Plus after checking around with other vets they have been over charging us and making appointments that were not needed. Do not recommend.

Dr. Daly performed a patella luxation surgery on my dog - my dog is as good as new. Both he and Dr. Strickland are very nice, great office staff, all around good experiences whenever I go.
