Very disappointed with my experience at Tranquility Dental Center. After several consultations with other dentists for Invisalign treatment, I chose to proceed with Invisalign from Dr. Lori Noga, who did advise me that Invisalign is an option for me and an appointment was this scheduled for impressions to be made. After having x-rays and impressions for Invisalign completed, I was told that it would be a 4-6 week wait to get the Invisalign trays to me. After waiting a month, I called the office to find out that Dr. Noga had approved the Invisalign treatment and trays were ordered. Several weeks later I was called by the dental assistant and told that I need to come to the office to get my refund as they would not be able to do the Invisalign after all. When I started asking what the issue was and for an explanation, the dental assistant was very unknowledgeable and stated that she did not know. After multiple attempts to call, leave messages and even stop by the office I was still not able to speak to Dr. Noga as she did not return any calls. I have never experienced a more unprofessional dental office than this even though the first impression was positive, and as a medical professional myself find it very disturbing that a doctor would not contact her patient to offer alternative treatments or solutions if my case was out of her scope of practice. After wasting two months of my time it is very frustrating situation as a patient to just be left hanging without any explanation, referrals, or given any alternative treatment. By the the American Dental Association standards, patient abandonment is considered an unethical code of professional conduct.

To sum up my experience very business oriented and not patient oriented. Well the place is very nice. I had a great dental cleaning and exam. Made an appointment to have some fillings redone by DR Perlman. Went into my appointment and he worked on my filling very well. But then when he was almost done he steps out to go do an exam on someone else. What the heck. In 40 years of going to the dentist I have never had this happen. Now the story. Almost at the end before he stepped out to see the other patient he had some issue with his grinder/drill I am sure there is a proper name for it. Then he steps out. Oh by the way they wear headsets to communicate so I am sure he knew he needed to step out to get that patient done quickly. So they can get another one in the chair. So I am setting here. The dental tech was doing something and after a while went to look at the piece the DR could get going himself. So probably was gone 10 min or less but still not cool to leave a patient setting there almost done. So when he came back in the dental tech said “I fixed your instrument”, then Dr said “Oh thanks”. Well he finished up. I then explained that I was not very please him leaving me during the exam. The DR said” There were time during a procedure that was set up so he could step out”. Then the Dr said his instrument wasn’t working and the dental tech was fixing it”. The dental tech did him a favor. Well my point of view is the dental tech took it upon herself to fix it. I could ramble on but at the end voicing my frustration he wanted to shake my hand and I did not. He got pissy and said fine be that way. Um lost your professional manner I see.

I recently had a terrible experience at another dental clinic and the dentist did very shoddy work and left Jagged edges on a filling that he did. I called Tranquility dental and they were able to get me in the next day. When I walked in they gave me a tour and it was like walking into a day spa. They even offer Spa treatments such as gel eye masks, aromatherapy, hot packs to put on your neck, hot towels, all of their dentist chairs have massage and heat and the relaxation room is gorgeous. They offer tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Everyone was extremely professional, extremely nice ,very caring and absolutely happy to be there. You could tell that they loved coming to work and working there. I was lucky enough to be able to get an exam and fix some of my Dental issues in one visit, and I cant wait to go back. The dentist did not hurt me at all even numbing me prior to treatment. Nothing hurt, and i was completely comfortable, even though normally I suffer from panic attacks and severe anxiety. I almost fell asleep in the chair! This is not the typical dental office you would think of, its serene, and the employees are incredible people. They have a childrens area, and so treat children also. I highly recommend tranquility dental to everyone!!!

I visited Tranquility Dental Wellness in Lacey WA for the first time on 11/16/15. I couldnt be any happier. I dislike going to the dentist but this visit was actually pretty relaxing with all of the spa type options that are available (free) to help the experience be calming. I choose the parafin wax for my hands, aromatherapy, cooling eye mask, and the heated neck pillow. There is the option of watching Netflix or wearing sound cancelling headphones. Pretty neat in my opinion. I seen Kati (yes proper spelling) as my hygienist. She was super friendly which was really nice. She didnt make me feel bad for not flossing enough, etc. She educated but was not pushy at all. I find that a nice chance when getting my teeth cleaned. I saw Dr. Perlman. I wound up needed to go back for some fillings. He is actually my favorite dentist ever now. He is very friendly and calming. He is very kind about taking a mini break if Im really nervous and need a quick moment. He sat there and chatted with me which helped calm my nerves. I read some not so wonderful reviews however Ive heard good things about this practice from others so I decided to give them a chance. I had the best experience at this practice despite me disliking going to any dentist.

Tranquility is the perfect word to describe my experience. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but this is the closest Ive come to comfortable ever! All the staff at the Lacey office are friendly and helpful especially Jessica the scheduling coordinator. Shes gone above and beyond to help me face my fears in completing my treatment even as far as calling to check in with me and see if I was ready to schedule the next appointment and get it done. She shares her experience and understands and respects my personal and medical limitations and preferences to make it the most ideal visit it can be for everyone involved. Shes worked with other offices to make appointments for me. I would not be this far in my treatment and finally getting caught up to where I can explore what can be done to improve function of my jaw if it werent for Jessicas patient care and quite honestly her persuasive communication skills. A very valuable asset to your team!

As a first time client, I was given a tour of the facility and its features. I was promptly taken to Tira Lynn, the hygienist who took my X-rays and photos, identified some problem spots and then cleaned my teeth. All the time, I enjoyed a heated chair back massage which relaxed me. Dr. Chiu then went through the X-rays and photos and then commented on some areas in need of work. She identified the need to have a crown done on one deteriorating and chipped filling as well as a cavity on one of my wisdom teeth. Very thorough and the costs are comparable to what I had experienced in Seattle. I was able to schedule the filling of my wisdom tooth right away, and will plan for the more expensive crown work on another time. Great experience for a dental office that reminds me more of a spa than a dental office. I recommended that my spouse make an appointment there rather than drive to Seattle for future dental treatment.
