This is the worst, money grubbing vet I have ever been to. My dog had an ear infection. He insisted on taking her into a back room to examine her and clean her ear, regardless of my protests. I could have held her and she would not have been so frightened. I had no choice other than to comply since she needed immediate treatment as she was in pain. While she was back there he clipped her nails and charged me a fee, I think it was $9.00, without any communication with me. Very sneaky, underhanded facility. If he does that to 10 dogs a day, at roughly $10 a pop, he will make an extra $2,000 a month. Anyway, of course, approximately 4 weeks later, having been treated with a steroid instead of an antibiotic for an infection, the infection flamed back up. I called and asked if I could pick up an antibiotic for her ear. No they said, I had to come in and pay for yet another office visit because he dispensed the wrong medicine in the first place. DONT take your pet to this thieving, incompetent vet unless you have money to throw away and dont care about your animal.

From the moment that I walked into the Salish Veterinary Hospital I could tell that this place was very special. My dog has been suffering a serious skin disorder for 10 years and after thousands of dollars in expensive vet visits, food and medication one visit to Salish Veterinary Hospital has been the answer to my prayers. Dr. Thomazin was amazing with my big Mastiff mix boy. He loved Dr. Thomazin and doesnt typically take to strangers. Dr. Thomazin was very through and although he was extremely busy he spent as much time with us as needed to make sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what was going on with Sunny. His pricing was great too and a lot less than I have paid anywhere else for a lot more in service! it has been two days and the rash that has plagued Sunny his entire life is almost gone and I have my boy back!! Thank you to the entire amazing loving and compassionate TEAM at Salish Veterinary hospital. I will never take any of my pets anywhere else again. I highly recommend Salish Veterinary Hospital.

So many great things to say about this place. We transferred over for the convenience of it being in our neighborhood and we couldnt be happier with the decision. We had a slight emergency this morning with our yorkie/maltese (turned out to be fine) but the minute I walked in, I immediately was impressed. First, the clinic is BEAUTIFUL. Beautifully decorated and designed and very comfortable. Second, every single person that worked there greeted me with a huge smile and I felt very taken care of. I had my 2 year old with me so a little stressful but there were cookies and suckers for him which was great to keep him occupied. Lastly, the care was top notch. The doctor and assistant went through EVERY single possible step to make sure my dog was okay and good to head home. Trimmed his toe nails, gave us a tour of the facility, got details for a dental cleaning...really above and beyond. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Amazing staff and hospital. Regardless of us being new clients, the staff made sure my sick kitty was seen immediately. Dr. Thomazin takes time to explain options and treatment. He laid out all the information clearly so I knew what the plan of treatment was. He made follow-up calls and arranged for retests as needed. I never felt rushed or like another paycheck. His staff are kind, helpful, knowledgeable and articulate. Best pet hospital in the area! Such a comfort to know my furr babies are in great hands. The staff truly care about animals.
