This skip the waiting room is BS! I used it went to Mercy Walworth at 7pm like I singed up for. When I got there I was informed that it did not matter that I went to "skip the waiting room" and would still have to wait for over an hour to be seen. That would have been find for an adult but it was a 3 year old child. There is no way to sit in a waiting room for that long with a child that is the very reason I tried to skip it. If Mercy Walworth is not going to honer this option it should NOT be offered. To say the least I have never been so disappointed with Mercy!! My family has been going to this Mercy for over 25 years. You know when the care was the best around...not any longer.

Needs more better qualified administration & staff for overall patient /employee satisfaction , health and wellness. The few good ones are why the health system is rapidly growing and doing well. - Requested every year for the past 3 about more food options, PLANT-BASED alternatives , Dairy-free and Meat-less substitutes and little to no change or feedback about it. Also Request since 2014 about a fitness center attached onto the hospital to benefit the community health and wellness as well as the employees and no response about that either. For a hospital in a rural area that can grow exponentially in value of health being real wealth it does not. Very disappointing.

There is no patient privacy. And 9 out of 10 times you dont even get a doctor or nurses who care or treat you with respect. They always act like its a bother to do their jobs and treat the patient. I have only have had good experiences with two doctors with all of the doctors that I have had dealings with.

I had my appendix out at 35 weeks of pregnancy. They took it out lapriscopically the nurses in the OB unit were fenominal. My doctor, the surgical team and the anesthesiologist was very caring. Then when I went back for delivery it was just the same treatment wonderful.

We have visited Mercy Walworths emergency department on two different occasions. Both times we were treated right away and had excellent care both from the nurses and doctors on duty. This is a very nice hospital with exceptional service.

Stay away! They will charge you for services not provided, change coding, will push unnecessary services and will overcharge you 2-3 times the average price for this area. Went for a free physical - ended up with $1200 bill.
