I want to review some things that were less than satisfactory about how my appointment was handled. For the price of health care, which comes out of my pocket for the most part, I really would expect more focused care. I came in unable to walk on a foot. I needed x-rays to see if it was broken. Luckily it was a bad sprain on the top right side of my foot. The doctor (I will say the doctor was female, 40s, and perhaps from India) said she would have the nurse show me a foot brace or boot and options. The two options shown were an ankle wrap, which was not appropriate since my injury was only on the outside right side of my foot, and a kind of sandal shoe that keeps the foot firmly supported. Neither seemed like the proper solution. Why would I just get a sandal shoe when I could not even walk on my foot? Why would I get a wrap specific to my ankle when the injury was not in my ankle? I had to say these dont really address the issue, am I getting crutches? What about the area on the foot? Its not the ankle. The doctor comes in. And said well, its not really the the ankle or the foot its somewhere in-between. Im thinking, yes so why are you giving me something that does not address the injured area. So I say am I supposed to walk on this? I cant even walk on it. Dont I need crutches. So she said no you should not walk on it. Okay yes well get you crutches. Then she said okay we can do a wrap on your foot. So I guess its good I was my own advocate because these offers were not coming without a couple conversations. But I also had some so so care with the nurse. The nurse set me up with crutches. The first pair she said were too short for me. She brings a second pair. Oddly they seem like the same height, too short, I am bent over. But she just tells me to grip them so Im standing up more. But theres about a couple inches under my arms so I end up slumping over more while using them. I really do not know about these things. All I know is my back starts really hurting. Later a friend sees how Im hunching over and tells me the crutches are too short for me. And she sees how to adjust them. Basically the nurse did not even give me crutches at the proper height, she did not adjust them, or mention that I could adjust them or how they could be adjusted. I now have a lower back pain. I truly think she knew she was just sending me off like this. The doctor in particular does not seem of a professional caliber. But Im sure the fees I will be charged will be at a high caliber.

Brought my 4 month old in right before closing because he had the first few signs of pink eye and our regular pediatrician was already closed. The doctor touched the infected eye then immediately touched his non infected eye. I know its highly contagious and his other eye would probably get infected on its own, but this seemed like a pretty dumb move. She then said his eye looks fine and to not worry about anything because, and Im quoting, " Ive never had pink eye so if he did I wouldnt be touching him". Im sure she meant it in a comforting way. Anyways, by 3 am his eyes were both crusted shut.

I was pretty concerned about going here based on the previous review. Since the Mercy Immediate Care was closed today (its Sunday) I didnt have much of a choice. The Nurse Practitioner was fabulous! She was thorough and caring. I thought my son had Strep but it turns out it was a sinus infection. We discussed about how to properly take the medicine she prescribed. Also, it took us under an hour from walking in to leaving.

Why is it called immediate care if you cant see me for three weeks to a month? Which doctor do I want to see? I dont know, Ive never been there before. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, and they want me to see a spine and back specialist. This is diagnosed by some woman over the phone. Ill take my chances elsewhere thank you.

Prepare to sit in office for about 2 hours. Also prepare to be misdiagnosed. Went with stomache pain was told I had a kidney stone and needed to go to the ER for a emergency CT. Had the CT done and did not have any kidney stones. Hours later and now stuck with a $600 Bill from ER.

This place is just horrible. They diagnose every issue as viral when both my son and my wife had strep throat. The doctors are just looking to get you out the door. Do not go here.

Went there for the first time and they were great! Processed me quickly and I got to see the doctor quickly. I was quite impressed.
