WAS SENT HOME AFTER A CT SCAN. CALLED MY DR WENT TO COPLEY AND HAD IMMEDIATE SURGERY AND TWO BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS!! ER PERSONAL AT MERCY WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THE SPANISH NURSE STATED THE BLACK GUY IN THE CT AREA WAS RUDE AN MEAN TO HER AS SHES WHEELING ME DOWN THE HALL AND IM THINKING WTF ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!?! WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME THERE I COULD OF DIED!! THANK GOODNESS FOR THE GREAT BED SIDE MANNER ALL OF THE PEOPLE STAFFED AT COPLEY. YOU CAN TELL THERE UPPER MANAGEMENT UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS HOW TO TREATS ALL OF THERE EMPLOYEES!! IT MOST DEFINITELY SHOWS AND I WILL DRIVE AN EXTRA 15 TO 20 MINS FROM MY HOME FOR BETTER HEALTH CARE!! GOOD LUCK TO THOSE THAT CHOOSE MERCY BECAUSE OF CONVENIENCE. BECAUSE I HAVE TO I GAVE THEM A STAR THAT IS NOT DESERVED. I WAS THERE IN DECEMBER 2015 FOR A RUPTURED OVARIAN FOLLICLE CYST THAT LEAKED INTO MY ORGANS BUT THEY SAW IT ON THE CT SCAN RIGHT?!?! OH WAIT IT TOOK COPLEY TO READ MERCYS CT SCAN TO TELL ME THAT!!

Im sorry to hear all these stories from the visit in the ER. I will say this...its not based on a first come first serve basis....they will always take an emergency patient or patients first. These are people who are very unstable and they use their staff to help care or prep them. I also have done my fair share of waiting at the ER in my life but I will tell you in the last 4 weeks I have had medical problems on an emergency basis and Im sorry if I took your bed. If you think Copley is so much better than Mercy .....that free up another bed. This is a hospital!!!! Not a dentist, not a place to get pain drugs cause some are addicted, not a place for KIDS if not being treated and last but least....Emergency Room! This hospital has saved my life 3 times in over 4 weeks. Again, sorry if I took your bed ....I really didnt have a say since I was unconscious. Great Job Mercy! Thank you to all of Mercy for your hospitality, polite, concerned Team!!!!!

Literally the worse hospital I have EVER been to. Waited THREE hours to be seen in excruciating stomach pain crying. Had to have my fiancée bring the baby home because we waited so long. Was brought into the ER where I laid in a bed in the worse abdominal pain I ever experienced in my life. Literally dripping in sweat almost blacked out from the amount of pain I was in. Continued to push the nurses call button and had it shut off by a nurse at the nurses station before anyone even came to make sure I was alright. Ended up taking off my o2 monitor and blood pressure cuff just to see if someone would come help me and after 20 minuets of the monitor dinging STILL no help!!! I had to walk out into the hallway and flag down a security officer and tell him I was going to pass out ALL just to have a nurse FINALLY come make sure I was okay. WILL BE CALLING THE NEWSPAPER

Avoid this place like the plague. If given any choice whatsoever, I would never go here again. I did not feel comfortable to start, they stuck me 4 times before actually drawing blood, they messed up my IV and then injected saline into my hand (bruised for 3 weeks afterward), they didnt explain my procedure very well (they made it seem like I could go to work the next day, when in fact I had to take a week off), and to top everything off, they sent me a bill (I had 7 different bill from 7 different places, which I paid) that I must have misplaced - never sent me a second, and then sent me to collections. Thanks for this experience and instilling such low confidence in the US Healthcare system. Its no wonder why we rank so low in overall health.

brother went in with drug overdose, er dr fantastic, after that all down hill. Staff was told family felt he was suicidal, but instead of listening to us they ask the addict are you suicidal and of course he says no. he has been in several ers and this is the only staff that didnt seem to care. Also spoke with nursing supervisor who did nothing except transfer my call. no help at all. its so unfortunate that our health systems dont care about their patients only how they can pay and then treat you accordinly. sad that people in health care have no compassion for the soul only for the pocketbook. would never reccomend..

The nurse who put in my 13 stitches was very unfriendly, and very insincere. I had a severe hand laceration. She put in localized anesthesia into my thumb and imediately started stitching. I was crying out in pain...mind you there was 9 stitches in a very small area. She said "im not sure why this is bothering you so much." I was the one receiving the stitches, and around 4:30 am. She also did a very shotty job. Most of the stitches had fallen out in 5 days. Had the rest removed on 9th day. On the 2nd (last) visit, the nurses were very kind. I work retail, so a better stitching job would have been highly ideal

My daughter received very poor attention in the ER department when she was brought in on Dec16th due to a major car accident. Her right hand was bleeding profusely from a very deep cut on her finger. Her pinky was almost detached. They just put stitches and released her. Never took any XRay or MRI to see for broken bone or nerve damage. They did not even check for any other injuries. She suffered concussion and also hurt her back from the impact of the accident. They did not check for anything else. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

The worst experience ever! Horrible hospital. I was there today with my 10 months old son,we went at the ER,the wait time was 2 hours,but weve been waiting for 3 hours,after 3 hours my wife asked someone to call the doctor cause the baby was crying,he was tired,hungry and he felt bad. The doctor told that they dont know when they can take us,and we can leave if we dont want to wait anymore. We left without any help,it is very unprofessional and mean to a patient.

OMG! I received a card from the team to see how is was doing after visiting them. That is the nicest way to keep in touch with your patients. I work in the dental field and we too reach out to our patients as well but this time it felt good being the receiver vs the giver- what a difference a simple gesture can do. Presence Mercy - Thank you fr making me feel like a true patient not just a number.

Horrible hospital, my grandma was having seizures, and she had a heart attack. And they made her sit in the waiting room, she was having seizures, groaning in pain. Horrible place, never go here. Awful, my grandma was in the icu, she fell out of her bed and smashed her face on the ground, there was a pool of blood. They didnt call, didnt call to tell us. Thats bullsh*t

Worst hospital ever!! They should consider closing it down!! Been in the E.R waiting room for 4 hrs now and still havent been seen by any personnel! I cant believe they would allow this kind of service! Please anyone who reads this and is planning on coming here TURN BACK AROUND AND GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL!!!!
