One month ago I went for my annual mammogram at the Breast Center. Ive been going there for years and have found the technicians to be excellent. Alisa McConnell was my technician and did everything in her power to make my experience a positive one. Had it not been for her, I probably would not go back there. Unfortunately, the clerical workers seem to have mixed up my info last year which caused me to wait an interminably long time and then never receive my results. After much thought, I returned this year and was assured this would not happen again. I ended up waiting a very long time again and being the only person in the waiting room and still not getting called. Apparently the clerical work was mixed up -- again! Women do not want to change where they have their mammograms and I travel for 90 minutes to go to the breast center. Two years in a row I had the same problem with being left in the waiting room and having my clerical info incorrect. I was also billed for this procedure since the clerical staff is so incompetent. I thought that after making it known as to what happened in 2015, my 2016 visit would have been much better. I am glad that there are excellent technicians there because the clerical staff is one of the most incompetent around.

My doctor of 26 years told me to come here rather than go to the place in PA that I have been going to. My insurance DOES NOT require that I got a referral for a mammogram or an ultrasound. I was given a prescription and that should have sufficed. Instead, I sat arguing for 10 minutes that my insurance doesnt require a referral, my doctors office confirmed my insurance doesnt require a referral, and human resources confirmed the same. The insurance company was closed today. Finally, after I said I would just take my prescription back and take my chances with the place in PA, Katia checked with her office supervisor who said to put my tests through the system. Tell ya what. I will NOT be driving 2 hours next year to get these tests done here. I WILL take my chances in PA. Ridiculous!!

Been coming to the St. Barnabas breast center for year. Never had a bad experience. Alway expedient and pleasant. Valet parking a plus. My appt was at 12:30 and I was out the door by 12:44, no exaggeration. My PMD called me with the results the same evening. Couldnt ask for a better experience.

They call me over and over with an appointment for someone who never lived here. SIX TIMES THEY HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED and I told them to take my name off their list. Calls before 8 AM in the morning. The Appointment Scheduling department has not helped at all!
