This experience was like pulling teeth and in the end they still did not provide the service I needed. First, I contacted them a month in advance to be sure they could do the paperwork for my mother in law to ship my dog to Germany (My husband and I are stationed here in the US Army.) They assured me they knew what to do and it would be no problem. When my mother in law brought my dog in the Vet did $61.00 in COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY TESTS. We were upset but it was too late to change anything and they were not willing to refund any of that money. IT GETS WORSE they Refused to sign a standard letter of acclimation (stating the animal can travel when OUTSIDE air temperatures are between 20 and 45 degrees ) that Delta Airlines REQUIRES for a pet to fly. They said I would have to PAY for ANOTHER EXAM for them to decide if they would be willing to sign the document. BUT THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY OPENINGS BEFORE HER FLIGHT. So essentially they hung me out to dry, The Health Certificate is only good for 10 days so I will have to re-schedule her flight and pay another $100 for a different vet to redo all the paperwork and Health Certificate. The receptionist was very nice and tried her best but the Doctors were simply unwilling to provide a simple, standard service. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RELY ON THESE PEOPLE FOR EVEN THE SIMPLEST TASK!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Middletown Veterinary Hospital for the past few years and always been very happy. The hospital is clean, everyone is friendly and professional, and (most importantly!) I feel I can really trust the veterinarians. My dog recently developed a skin reaction to a couple products we were using regularly. While we were very worried about him, we were so relieved when the vet was able to figure out what was going on and tell us what we needed to do differently to keep him healthy and comfortable. They were able to send out samples to a specialty lab across the country to find out what was really going on in addition to treating the surface symptoms. As it turns out, he has a rare but chronic condition. Of course I wish he had been born healthy, but the important thing is that now we know what has been going on! My dog is doing so much better since we made the changes the vet recommended and we couldn’t be happier that he is back to his normal happy self. We also now know what kinds of products and medications he can’t tolerate, so we hopefully never have to go down that road again. Just want to say thank you to everyone at Middletown Veterinary Hospital! I highly recommend this animal hospital to everyone looking for a good veterinarian.

Very disappointed in this clinic. My cat,BEST FRIEND, was very sick and hadnt eaten in two days throwing up yellow then pink bile. I wasnt too concerned until i saw the pink vomit which to me indicated blood. I called them and asked for help and told them my situation which was i had no money until Wednesday, which was only four days away. I have been going there for 5+ years and had spent well over a few thousand for all my fury friends. They informed me, too bad, we dont do billing. No help what-so-ever ! I am very disgusted with The Middletown Veterinary Hospital ! I will never step foot in there again, EVER. My new Vet is Dr Johnson. I cannot explain the feeling of happiness and relief i had when we worked out a plan to help my best friend. This is a Veterinary Hospital that truly cares. Thank You Dr Johnson and id also like to thank the staff. You guys are the best !!!!

This veterinary hospital is THE BEST! Anyone who says differently is wrong! The staff, vet techs, manager and doctors are top notch. We found this office several years ago after some terrible experiences with previous vets in the area. Everyone is always so kind to our kitties and our family. We always feel at home there and safe with any visit or proceedure that needs to be done. They truly care about animals and there well being. I really cant say enough positive things about this place. We have recently moved and have had to find another vet and Middletown Vet has still been helpful in getting our kitties records and information over to our new doctor. Our family and kitties miss you Middletown Vet, you have a special place in our hearts.

Had a miserable expirence here. Brought in an old golden, knew he had cancer, his nose was bleeding and I wanted to put him down if they couldnt reasonably stop the bleeding. They wanted to keep him over night and "it was just a nose bleed, everything would be fine" long story short they had to put him down and he died alone, without me. It was heartbreaking and bullsh*t. Ive never been back.

A stray kitten found us in the dead of winter and adopted us. We took her to Middletown Vet and they were very helpful and did a great job fixing her up. She came starved and with a huge wound. We have only had this cat for 48 hours but already she is the sweetest and most trusting little thing. I hope she heals up with their help.

Money is the bottom line with this clinic, im done here. If you are reading this please take my advice and find another Vet. I have been more then patient with these people and im tired of the run around. They dont even deserve 1 star !
