So it sucks I gotta write this negative review considering I gave birth to my son here a couple years ago but I am so so upset with my experience in the ER last night. Its funny, cause one of these reviews mirrors my experience in way. So without going into too much detail about my symptoms, getting extreme chills and sweats were part of them, it was to the point I needed to wear a jacket and pants and have three blankets on me, even OUTSIDE. Now I got to their ER and get taken back, the doctor or assistant whatever she was, comes in. I tell her all of my symptoms and shes just like whatever about it and tells me shell need a urine sample and I tell her, okay but Im really weak and feel my legs will give out and she says "well bathroom isnt close but ill see if someone can walk with you" um, okay whatever. So my nurse comes in about 15 mins later, I believe Lindsey is her name, she seems nice at first but has NO patience. I was beyond weak, I hadnt eaten in two days and just sick, she brings me pills to take, 5 pills. Im weeeeak keep this in mind, I take the pills slowly and feel so faint. The registry chick stands outside and asks if she should just come back later, my nurse responds by hitting her hands on her thighs and makes a face like yeah. Sorry you guys have me pills while Im effing weak. Then shes like "I need a urine sample" I tell her "okay but I need help to the bathroom I can hardly hold myself up" to which she pauses and says "okay...". She walks with me and I do my thing, come out seeing her NOWHERE! Im a fall risk at that point and you walk off?!?!? Slowly I hold onto the the railing along the wall, see her at the nurses station laughing, then looks at me barely keeping upright and she says "oh just leave that in your room and Ill get it" walks away. Get to my room, the registry girl is back, blah blah, ask her to tell someone I need a blanket as Im very cold, she says she will do that. Annnd nothing for 10 mins, then my nurse comes in to get the sample I say "can I please get a blanket?" She says "yes" then about 20 mins of nothing but hearing the nurses laughing and whatnot, she comes walking past my room with her purse on and everything, looks directly at me and walks out. THE FINAL STRAW! Called my sister come get me. I walk out of my room to leave, see the so called doctor whos like "whats going on?" I express my dissatisfaction and all she says is " okay want your papers?" I say no, and shes "okay". WOW. You know, you can be smart enough to get a degree in nursing and being a doctor but that sure doesnt give you compassion and BEDSIDE manner. I hate this hospital for the complete disrespect I was shown! But this does have a good ending, went to Banner Thunderbird right after, yes it was extremely busy but got back, told them my ordeal here and they gave me a great experience! The guy that took me back to my room brought me 3 blankets and overall the staff was wonderful! Ive been to this one numerous times and I suggest them to EVERYONE, they do their best to make you comfortable :) Skip this hospital at all costs, go to Banner Thunderbird if you want to be treated like a human and that you matter! And to whoever works here at this hospital that reads this, I will tell everyone in my path that you SUCK! People arent stupid, we can spot the ones that want a paycheck! This isnt just my experience, my mom and my sister were treated poorly here as well! Btw I told my family if I ever end up unconscious or whatever and paramedics want to take me here to tell them hell no or just let me die lol thats how disgusted I am.

8years ago I gave birth in this hospital. Worst experience ever! First of all they yelled at me, yes yelled. The nurse said that my yells of pain way to much and to knock it down so I dont scare anyone in the other rooms! Really!? I was in pain my first delivery I hurt. They ended up giving me so much medicine that I couldnt feel anything but drunk! I felt drunk and really didnt know what was going on when they kept snapping and shouting at me to push. I pretty much slept threw the whole delivery. Later on they moved me into a room they called the over flow room. It was the size if a closet. The window to outside was a facing a brick wall. I was unable to shower because the shower in my bathroom was stocked with walkers. The lighting was so poor in the room they tested my daughter for jaundice. Of course she did not have jaundice it was the lighting in the room. The nurses where rude mean and snapped at me all the time. I was treated like an inconvenience. To make it worse they called cps on me!!!! yep! My family got into an argument outside of my room with the father of my child. (no one yelled no one raised there voice they just didnt agree on him leaving me to go to work) They didnt even feed me. Well I did get breakfast and that was the only meal they gave me. It haunts me that my first child was born here and all these awful things happened within 24 hours of her birth. things that should have no happened!!!!! I hate this hospital! I gave birth to my second child at Banner thunderbird and I was like heave. It was happy unlike the birth of my first child. It should have been happy but because of the people that work at phoenix Baptist and the dirty place that it is it was a very sad and upsetting day. I urge you to never ever go to this place for anything! It would be a dream to personally slap the closed sign on this hospital.

Horrible. Extremely unprofessional. A few years ago, when I was still a minor, my mother took me here when I had a serious condition. I was throwing up, had the chills, and couldnt walk straight. They kept my mother and I in the waiting room for three hours, even though I was on the verge of fainting; my mother begged them to let me in, to let me lay down somewhere, but they spoke to us harshly and in a rude manner. When I was finally admitted, after another several hours, this "doctor" came in. I was pale, had a fever by that time. My mother said "Please, he feels like he is ending, he cannot stand up without throwing up, he is dizzy and seeing lights in his eyes". I still remember the doctors words to my mom "HAHAHAHAHA!! LOOK! SEE? HES BREATHING SO THAT MEANS HE ISNT DEAD NOR DYING!". She literally started jumping up and down, insulting my mother after my mother voiced her concerns. After she jumped around some more, she gave me ibuprofen and sent us home. Another time, I was injured in an accident while moving furniture; a large wooden table fell on my head and knocked the senses out of me. We rushed to the hospital, and were waiting HOURS for someone to attend to us. We heard a patient who came in with "a small rash" on her hand, right next to my room, and they came in after us, yet attended to automatically! They received 100x more attention. FOR A RASH! They gave her cream for it, attended to her much better than to me. Once again, gave me ibuprofen and sent me home without any x-rays or MRIs on my brain. "Youre conscious, so youre fine." My family physician was shocked. Dont go here. Youll be insulted and thrown out, and of course, charged for it.
