Actually, this hospital called my employee while at work (We are in Seattle!) I called and talked to the administrator because I felt it was an invasion of my employees privacy/safety as well as an insult to my small business as they were falsely using my business resources for whatever gain they were seeking. I asked her to contact her tech department or payables department and have them pull the long distance invoice. Hopefully it would tell us WHY a VA Hospital in California was calling my young staff member. "Faye" said she would look into it after she made it clear she was insulted that I asked her to do something out of her scope of influence. I never heard back. I guess I didnt expect to. Its disappointing that our tax dollars are going to poorly run organizations with administrators with no follow thru. The money should be spent on our veteran heroes.

The Menlo park mental health facility along with the Palo alto veterans hospital have been more than unfair and misleading on where the grant monies are appropriately spend At the expense of the wounded veteran they have inappropriately spent monies that were to be used for the veterans care and quality of life on property enhancement for monetary gain to lease sports and picnic areas to the mega corporate companies for barbecue picnics parties they are both spending 10s of millions of veterans $$$$ enhancing the medical facilitys inappropriately with not the wounded or ailing veteran that have paid the ultimate price for our freedom of life The facilities Directors and Senior staff have abused the trust of what it means to be a American Fighting Soldier men and Women who have served and sacrificed

I was there for 3 months. The SO-CALLED DOCTORS THERE ARE A WASTE OF VA FUNDS!! The programs they have made my condition WORSE!! LESS THAN A MONTH AFTER I WAS RELEASED I ENDED UP IN A CIVILIAN HOSPITAL!! THE VA NEEDS TO SHUT IT DOWN OR CHANGE THE DRS AND CHANGE THE WAY THEY TREAT THE PATIENTS!! EVERYONE I SEE I TELL THEM ABOUT MENLO PARK AND TO NOT SEND ANYONE THERE!! IT IS THE WORSE VA HOSPITAL IN THE COUNTRY!!! TERRIBLE, JUST TERRIBLE!!! NOW, JAMYE PANKIW, YOU MUST NOT HAVE A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM OR YOU WOULD GO ELSE WHERE. BE ADVISED GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY WILL MAKE YOU A SERIOUS PROBLEM!! I work at the SF VA Medical Center and its hard to balance the line between patient and employee while being seen there, so I transferred my care to the Palo Alto VA Health Care system, which includes Menlo Park. I am nothing but impressed with all aspects of this facility and I have been seen at a few. Its clean, safe, the staff is courteous and on the ball. They were even able to assist me in a matter that had taken two years to complete. I brought it to their attention and within a week it was resolved. As a Veteran and a VA employee, I am impressed with this facility. I feel other facilities should take note of what they are doing and mirror them. Keep up the great work.

You just waiting your time at this clinic! You better OF going to emergency room or just see the right doctors. A punch of student in learning process. All they ask and tell you is go get insurance. Any question you have they cant answer cause they dont know or they are not the specialist. With any condition you walk in they will tell you go back to work this is not a reson not to work. My experince at this place is not good, not helpful and they cant scrape any farmarcy drug as location and ointments, they cant perscrip any of thos cause they are not real doctors just student becoming nurse or in learning process.

Its a GREAT VA. Im suspicious of these reviews. Ive received better care there than any other place in the nation. I know the current Republican (Corporate) agenda is to, "Defund, de-fund, and DEFUND..." so they can privatize, so Im shocked at what I read about the Palo Alto / Menlo Park Health Care System. Yes.. theres come cronyism and nepotism that has been going on for years, but the actual medical, eye, and dental care is EXCELLENT.
