The hospital is clean and the nurses are nice, but beware of the doctors. I was told after going into ER for pain that they could not let me go home because I had pancreatitis. I was given Dilaudid medicine before being told that the hospital could not let me go home ,so I could not think clearly. After they admitted to this hospital through ER. I was given more drugs (Dilaudid and Percocet) and had an organ removed from my body that I would have never agreed to in my right mind. There are several corrupted doctors that are attached to this hospital that I found out about during my stay. I pray that God intervenes soon to expose them so no one else is messed up, from going to this hospital. The lesson I learned is you cannot trust doctor’s that just wants to do surgery on you to make a buck. Unfortunately, I had to learn this since being damaged. Do not go to ER alone. There should be a law against patients signing papers while under the influence of drugs like morphine that the hospital administers to patients when they are all alone being treated. I was told that I needed my gallbladder removed and that had gallstones. After my surgery I asked to see the gallstones and what I was given in a container was not gallstones. It was green bile and bright yellow cholesterol in the container. I showed it to my friends and family. They all were just as shocked as I was that this hospital played a cruel trick on me. The pathologist of this hospital even lied on my medical record. You see I really did not have gallstones. I requested my medical records and all my tests MRI and Ultrasounds technicians had said that there was no gallstones, so why did the corrupt doctor proceed with taking my gallbladder? Everyone be aware if you go to this hospital and they tell you that you need your gallbladder removed. They do unnecessary surgery and jeopardize lives just to make money. I hope that they will be exposed soon for their corrupted practices. Surgery is nothing to play with, it is a life and death situation and someone can die on the operating table unnecessarily just because the hospital wants to make a buck. I found out also that hospitals should not tell you they cannot let you go home.

Ive had a couple bad experiences here...they seem to circle around the EM Dept; went to ER hemorrhaging after delivering my baby a week earlier...the "nurse" in the ER starts taking my temporature!!! Im an RN myself...so I know how things are basically supposed to go...I told her..."You better stop with that stuff and get a line (IV) in me right NOW FAST!!! or you wont be able to in a few minutes!!"... as I lose blood volume while the idiot took my vitals instead of checking my bleeding & accessing the fundus, etc. When I asked where everyone was (MDs & other nurses)...she stated...theyre in the middle of taking care of another patient. I had to demand she get someone NOW that knew what they were doing!!! I ened up having a D&C to control the bleeding...when I woke up in "Recovery" I was in a lot of pain...I asked for something to cover the pain & the "recovery nurse" got angry with me & yelled at me!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! The nurses in this hospital are just plain NASTY & STUPID! Another time I went in with severe abdominal pain...had no idea what was causing it...the ER nurse was very casual about it with me and became irritated with me for being so "demanding" when I told her I need to see someone NOW...she had sent me to sit in the ER waiting room. These nurses DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TRIAGE!!! Their attitudes are like those of high school girls...mean & bitchy! THEY come first,,,theyll listen and get appropriate care for you WHEN THEYRE READY!!! BEWARE! Mission Regional has HUGE PROBLEMS WITH RADIOLOGY reading X-Rays and other imaging correctly...which means you could end up permanently disabled because the radiologist either didnt read the image correctly or they didnt even get around to it!!! Before leaving this hospital, be sure to ask for a copies of all xrays, labs and any other studies so you can present it to your physician outside of Mission Regional. Further, they will over-bill you, rebill you and make YOU prove your bill was already taken care of...which takes hours of work they should be doing! GOOD LUCK!!!

The worst ER in the world. Just spent 7 and half hours waiting for a doctor to see me for 2 minutes. How is it that in matter of a hour I can have a EKG, Catscan and have my blood drawn and my urine sample test but a doctor cant tell me why my lower chest / stomach area hurts for 4 hours? We had a guy in the waiting room of 35 people screaming that his chest hurts for 10 minutes and all they did is tell him well get to you soon. Seriously? How in the world is this ER considered a Emergency Room??? No Priority of anything. A lady came and sat there for 4 hours for a infected dog bite in her 90s! They took a guy out of a wheel chair who had back pain 5 times instead of just letting him sit in it they kept taking it away to bring it back. The room is so filled that half the people have to wait by the walls of the entrance. 2 times the same nurse came out and "called" on a person who was already being helped by someone and the people in the waiting had to tell him "that person is having a X-ray". Disorganized to say the least . Techs and nurses walking around making jokes and not doing their jobs. The best part of the night was when a lady who came in, in a ambulance was taken out of the back and brought back to the waiting area for hours to the point of her asking the nurse if she can just go somewhere else. Once she said that they started saying no you cant you have this and that in which she replied that yes I know but Im not actually being helped. Overall : Doctors who waste your entire day when you are having an emergency and make you wait 4-7 hours. You would think people who go to an ER expect to be seen, somewhat before they become worse, not at this place you might as well find another location. Dont waste your time, by the time they get to you, you or your family member might die of the unknown.

every time I go to the E R at mission I wait 8 hours... I have a kidney infection and cant sit around waiting to see a doctor.. hence why I went to the EMERGENCY ROOM.. so this morning I go in at 9am and theres 4 people ahead of me.. at 11:30 the lady tells me theres 15 people ahead of me... unreal what are we in Canada? Thats not even the worse part, I wouldnt mind if there where gunshot victims or something like that but they took in some kid that hurt his hand skateboarding and left me chillin and some other kid that was brought in by ambulance vomiting blood chillin.. what kinda huky 3rd world country hospital they runnin here? The more I tried to explain the ruder one of the R Ns became so I left. 11pm I come back and theres over 50 people in the ER it was so packed people where leaning up against the walls and sitting on the floors.. not even enough seats... it is now 5am the next day and Im about to try again.. wish me luck getting to see a doctor in this hell hole. Last 3 times I went in complaining about chest pain I waited 8 hours 2 of the times and 6 hours one of the times and all 3 times they would xray me bill me and do nothing to fix the problem.. no culture, no mri nothing just xray bill and be gone.. well I still have a problem with my left lung but have given up on any kind of help.. Im praying they will do something when I go in cause I need some antibiotics badly! I hate this hospital.. it is hands down the worse I have ever been in!!!!! Incompetent staff and extremely long waits with minimum effort to help fix the problem... You would be better off in Tijuana
