Excellent !! Excellent!! This Review Is For The Surgery Center: My mother Irene, went in for a Cerebral Angiogram, on Friday July 14th, 2007. The staff at this hospital is wonderful they took special care of my mother who is 77 at the end of this month with several health concerns. This staff deserves Applause!! Applause!! Applause!! From start to finish, even the day before the attending Nurse John Stevens talked to us extensively to ease my mother with this procedure, he even went the extra mile to have her attending Dr call us. What an amazing nurse John Stevens is, to take the time out on his busy-hectic day. I want to send a special thank you to the following staff: Admitting us was a lovely lady Lupe, very sweet. The volunteer Mary was a true joy to talk to, as we were escorted to the procedure room my mother & Mary hit it off very well. The staff in the procedure room, Applause! For Taking Great Care Of Irene Pacheco. Special Thank Yous To: Kaiser Chen, Frank Halter Rafael Oseguera-Vega, & Michael Romero, you all were awesome in taking care of my mom I head there was much laughter in the procedure room Thank You! Thank You! The staff in the recovery room, Applause!! For Taking Great Care Of Irene Pacheco. Special Thank Yous To: Tru Ngo, John Stevens, Donna Ferguson, Christine Bisbee, all of these nurses are wonderful they put the care in Memorial Care, once again there was laughter in the recovery room my mom had all the staff going she is always full of laughter, and these nurses are exceptional in their work! I am 100% pleased with this hospital & surgery center they are fantastic and as I mentioned all of the staff does put "Care In Memorial Care! I feel 100% confident to have my mother cared for here if need be in the future. My Deepest Thank You & Applause To Everyone !

I had been going to SADDLEBACK BREAST CENTER for the past four years. During that time I have had a few breast issues. On different occasions I have had 3 biopsys performed and they had all turned out to be benign. In September 2009 I went for my annual diagnostic mammogram and I was told everything looked great(no evidence of cancer) and I would not be needing diagnostic mammogram any longer. I was told to return in 1 year for just a regular screening. I did not feel right about their advice because they had said in the past that my breast were dense and very hard to read. So, 2 weeks later I decided to go to Hoag Hospital for an MRI and I was completely shocked when I was told I did indeed have breast cancer. If I would have waited a year like the Breast Center told me to I could have really put my life in danger. To add insult to injury they also sent me a bill for over 500.00. They would not negotiate on this bill at all and said they would turn it over to collections if not paid. I will never go to that hospital or breast center again, When I called and spoke to some of the people in charge over there and told them I did in fact have cancer not one of them seem to care or followed up in anyway with my situation. I am very angry and I want every women to be more careful when a receiving a clean bill of health from SADDLEBACK BREAST CARE CENTER.

Worst hospital ever! I was admitted to have kidney stones removed. I had to stay overnite and it was a nitemare. The nurse staff was rude and unconcern. They have this policy that a nurse has to assist you to the restroom. They never come when you call. I often got up without them. One nurse was so rude to an ederly patient in my room, that I had to say something to her. The morning after my procedure, I wake up to a nuse aid in my room talking on her cell phone. She thought the room was empty because the other patient was released and I had my curtain pulled. My last nurse tried to tell me how rude other nurses treated her when she had her baby there. This should have taught her how to treat her patients better, but it didnt. I finally expressed my complaint to the nurse case manager, who never followed up with me. To top everything off, Saddleback has billed my ins $21,000 plus dollars. I was only there 1-1/2 days. Have had this same procedure before and spent a longer stay and my ins was only billed about $5,000. I will never go here again.

I never thought it was possible to have a "fun" visit to the hospitals emergency room, until a few weeks ago! I have never given blood, have never been sick and am EXTREMELY afraid of needles, shots, blood, etc. Needless to say, my nerves and anxiety were through the roof when I had to be brought into the ER! I was even more frantic because we came in the middle of the night. Michelle was my nurse & COMPLETELY changed my views & thoughts about all that stuff! She took the time to explain everything, answer all of my huge list of questions and even went out of the way to print out information for my family in spanish so they were able to understand better too. She was quick, efficient, smart, and caring all at the same time. My family & I will never forget her or the doctor, Dr. Headwald(?)....a very nice younger physician who also took the time to involve my family so that we understood everything that was happening. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, especially nurse Michelle and Dr. Headwald (?). Thank you so very much!!

Horrible experience here. I spend 12 hours here with my spouse in the er only to have to keep following up with the staff. Only to have them repeat labs that were already completed. They then would not allow my wife to eat or drink anything in prep for surgery (which they later told us they would not be performing). They then moved us into a room for an over night stay which was the first time we heard they wanted to keep us overnight. Absolutely zero communication with the patient. Zero concern for the pain my wife was feeling and after we left and contacted them to schedule surgery there are all of the sudden no records of this request. Completely disappointed in the service here!!! Not to mention they delayed the visit with my spouse due to insurance issues but have written throughout the er that they are required to help EVERYONE regardless of insurance and ability to pay for services. Give me a break saddleback!!! Im sure you will have records of our visit when it comes time to billing.

The 2 star Review is for the Nurse Julie who seem to be very professional up until I asked her for a note for work. Her response was "that says what??" Umm...Idk...that I was at the ER instead of work?? I was an ER patient who went in for a gynecological problem and she wanted me to use my discharge papers as my work note. With centered bold words of the gynecological condition and discharge instructions. My boss doesnt need to know that. Period. The most most unprofessional part came when I went back to get a formal work form. She rolled her eyes and had this very unprofessional attitude, I was her patient and she didnt even get up when the other nurse said Julie will provided you with the work note. Someone else had to do it. I dont understand how giving me a work note was an inconvenience to her since the ER was empty when I arrived and when I left there were 2 patients and about 5 staff members sitting behind the desk.
