Dr.Grewal saved my dogs life. I brought in my 9 year old Rott Precious about a year and a half ago because she wasnt eating and I thought she was constipated. The Dr took and X-ray which reveled no constipation and every thing we could see appeared normal and my dogs health improved shortly after. However, Dr.Grewal apparently sends out all X-rays to a radiologist for an expert look. The radiologist found a mass on my dogs spleen. Dr.Grewal said that these are common in dogs but are never found until they rupture and the dog collapses from internal bleeding and need emergency surgery and dont last long after that. The Dr showed me a digital image and we could barely see any thing there. I was hesitant to believe it but the Dr strongly advised that this was a miracle we found it in such an early stage and that we do an ultra sound. The ultrasound found a 5cm mass and a needle sample was sent to lab which showed to be benign. I wanted to see if it was growing so we waited 3 weeks did another ultrasound which showed it grew to 6cm. The Dr said we had to do a spleenectomy which was done a week later and the tumor actually came back as grade 2 stage 1 cancer as I recal. Although there was no spreading into other tissues an oncologist said if it was her dog she would do the chemo as insurance because of the large flow of blood through the spleen. We did do the chemo and my beloved now 10 year old Rott is still running around like a puppy. I did my own Web research and everything Dr.Grewal told me was true; she would not have lasted 6 months if her condition was not caught and treated. Ive been taking my dog and 2 cats to Dr. Grewall at Animal Medical Center ever since my dog tore his ACL 8 years ago. Dr. Grewall performed a TPLO surgery on my dogs knee and just months later he was back to his old self. Able to go on long runs and as playful and care free as ever. Before I found Dr. Grewall online, the surgery was out of the question because I was a college student with no money but Dr. Grewall did the surgery for half the price of every other veterinary office around. He is so knowledgeable and its obvious that he adores animals and loves what he does. Ive never found a Veterinarian that I trusted anywhere near as much as I trust Dr. Grewall and the entire staff at Animal Medical Center. I know that when I take my dog or cats here, they will be treated the way I treat them and they are my babies and they are very precious to me. I tell everyone I know to take their pets here because I know that there isnt a better Vet around. Dr. Grewall is an excellent surgeon and he can perform any surgery that your pet could need. Besides the TPLO for the torn ACL, Dr. Grewall has also removed a tumor from my dogs leg and despite the tumor being intertwined in the muscles and tendons, Dr. Grewall did a beautiful job and my dog is walking and trotting around the house as if there was never a tumor there at all. The bottom line is, take your pet here and you will never go to another vet again.

There are vets and there are vets who genuinely care - care aboout their patients and care about the humans who bring in those patients. Dr. Grewal belongs to the latter group. Our daughter was visiting us from the state of New York with her dog Oreo. we took Oreo to Dr. Grewals clinic because he had an eye infection. When Oreo was under anesthesia for the treatment of his ears, Dr. Grewal discovered that Oreo also had critical dental issues. Bottom line: Dr. Grewal attended to our beloved Oreos health issues and fixed them. Furthermore, his technician, Chris, was also extremely compassionate and answered all our questions in detail. Of course, Dr. Grewals office called us and specifically requested permission/authorization prior to performing any dental procedures. Our family is truly grateful to Dr. Grewal and to Chris for taking care of Oreo and also for being sensitive to our daughters emotional state; she was terribly distraught when she learned that Oreo had to have some extractions. After we brought Oreo home, Dr. Grewal personally called us to chek on Oreos recovery. Note: He called us personally; he did not just have his office call us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Grewals services to anyone who is a doting pet owner.

We had been taking our princess Sadie to Dr. Grewal for over 10 years. When she became ill and we had to put her to sleep all of the staff and the doctor were all so nice and I could tell that they all have a big heart and care a lot. They loved Sadie and they all were sad to see her go too. Sadie loved everyone there and liked to say hi and goodbye to all of them before she would leave. So,for over 10 years I have had no bad experiences here,only good ones. Dr. Grewal is very compassionate, friendly, obviously loves animals and always right to the point...which I really appreciate. Now we have 2 new puppies and have already brought them to see him twice,and we will continue to use Animal Medical Center as our only vet. I would recommend AMC to everyone who has a pet and appreciates people who care and are nice,and also very professional. From the second you walk in the door it is obvious that everyone who works there is the right person for their job.They are very friendly to all the animals too....which I can tell is very easy for them to do. In short,go to Animal Medical Center and you will leave happy,impressed and confident. Thank you Dr. Grewal and all of your staff. Raymond,Melanie,Zena and Stevie Jones.....and Sadie too RIP

Dr. Grewal and his team are fabulous! The Animal Medical Center is the new veterinary home to our Shih Tzu, Baja. Baja came to us with chronic ear issues. We took him to the Vet who was recommended to us by his previous owners when his ear issue would resurface. The bills for the doctor visits and medications began to mount up but we never saw long lasting improvements. As we live close to The Animal Medical Center, I decided to stop in and have Baja seen there. Best move we could have made. Dr. Grewal is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He has an ear scope with a camera and was able to show us on screen what he was actually seeing in the ear canal. I could see for myself the source of Baja’s extreme discomfort. Dr. Grewal suggested a treatment plan that actually worked. He answered all our questions and he genuinely cares about his patients (and their owners). Chris and Kristine are friendly and patient, taking the time to ensure we understood how to properly apply medications. I am extremely happy with the high level of service we received and highly recommend them. I also appreciate that Dr. Grewal took the time to personally call us with test results and follow-up information. A+

I have been with Dr. Grewal and Animal Medical Center since 1998. 3 years ago i brought my baby Max to see Dr. Grewal becasue I noticed a lump on his left paw after xrays and 2nd opinions with UC Davis the conclusion was that Max had Osteosarcoma which is a bone cancer, this was Dr. Grewals initial diagnosis, but I didnt want to believe it I mean he was only 4 yrs old just a baby, but after researching this it appears that this type of cancer is common in large breed dogs and Max is a pure bred Lab. we amputated his front leg and gave him 4 rounds of kemo, I was told by UC Davis and Dr. Grewal that even with the surgery and kemo Max may live about 1 and 1/2 to 2 years max. well here we are today this October it will be 3 years since we amputated the leg and did the kemo and he is still going strong no symptoms of any sort.."knock on wood" I have to thank Dr. Grewal and his crew for taking such good care of my baby and I recommend Animal Medical Center to all who have sick little and big ones. For now we enjoy each day we are blessed with Max and my family is very thankful to AMC for all they have done to give us this great gift. Thank you so much to all at Animal Medical Center!!!
