I took my sick dog in to be seen and they tested her for parvo. I was told she was infected and I my only option was to leave her there to be placed on IVs for about a week. They said the cost of this would be 800+ dollars and would require $400 dollars down. I let them know I needed to discuss this at home before I made a decision like that, and was then told by the "used car salesman" that came in to talk to me after the vet left the room, that I should call from their office whoever I needed to, so I could make my decision right then, and I could use their phone. The used car salesman told me I didnt want to "waste one more minute" with the dogs condition, and continued to try and pressure me to take their services. They told me if I wanted I could have them inject some fluid into my dog to help with dehydration, but basically she wasnt going to make it because I was chosing not to leave her for treatment; I agreed with the injection. A vet tech (nurse) came in to do the injection and calmly talked WITH me about my dog and her condition. HE was WONDERFUL, I think he works for the wrong people. He suggested I give the dog pedialyte every couple of hours when I got home and should continue this until I see signs of my dog coming back to life. He said once I saw my dog interested in something to eat I should feed him chicken broth, then boil chicken (unsalted) and mix it with rice, and that should ease her into eating again. I also researched online possible ways to help my dog and came across a company called AMBER TECHNOLOGIES that sells a product called PARVAID. I purchased this product and followed the "nurses" instructions and within a day and a half my dog was showing signs of being as good as new!! If I had never agreed to have the fluid injected into my dog these people would have just let me leave without giving me any advice!!! It was only because of this vet tech that my dog has survived parvo. I thank him and I hope he finds some better people to work for someday. He is better than that place! The one star rating is for the one decent person that works there!

My 6 month old puppy had gotten either bitten or stung by a bug one day, and it was during the evening so I had to resort to a pet hospital, since my usual veterinarians office was closed. My puppies entire body had severe hives and her entire face was swollen shut. I was told that she would need two shots to bring down swelling, IV fluids, and her blood to be drawn. All which costing about $400 almost $500 upfront with no payment plan. Luckily I was offered the care credit card and was approved. I was told I needed to leave my puppy there until 9:30 pm., and I had taken her in at 5:30 p.m. I got called about 8:40 pm and was told she was ready for pick up. I live relativily close so I was there right about 9:00 pm. I sat in the lobby for about 25 minutes before I was even asked what I was there for. I had told them the time I was called and was told Id be able to pick my puppy up as soon as I got there. They took me to the back room and I sat and waited for another 20 minutes until a girl walked in and asked if I had been helped. She went back and told someone I was waiting and then said theyd retrieve my puppy shortly. The veterinarian had told me the swelling had gone down and my puppy would be perfectly fine, that all I needed to do was just give her two adult Benadryl......... Why couldnt I have just been told that as soon as I had taken her to the vet hospital to save time, stress on my Dog and my money. The doctor told me that if this ever happens again that, that is all she will need is just Benadryl. I was livid, thanks for taking my unnecessary money when all you could have told me was to just go and purchase Benadryl. I didnt end up leaving with my dog until 10:30 pm. I am very greatful that they had helped my puppy, but I wish they couldve had more respect that yes dogs medical problems can be un predictable, they couldve told me a cheaper route then putting a whole in my pocket just for Benadryl. Only positive was Pifany, and was a very sweet vet tech, and I appreciated her patience and understanding. Will not ever return unless I have too.

In my area, there are few, if any, Papillons. The result with a former vet was horrible. My precious Papillon mix, Piper went in for dental surgery. I had given the vet literature about the problems that can arise during dental surgery that calls for specific procedures which must be adheared to if the surgery is to be successful. Obviously, no one could tell either she or her husband (most likely) anything. These know-it-alls, instead of having the moral fiber to admit to their ignorant incompetance, and then referring me to a more knowledgeable vet, just plowed ahead flubbing through the procedure. Piper came out of the surgery so doped up, she never recovered. To shorten this, Piper went through further horrors and could no longer look forward to a life of quality. Piper is still the sun, moon, and stars to me. I truly believe I will see her again one day. A while later, we were led to Zoey. She, too, was a Papillon mix; we loved her dearly. She came to her dental surgery, this time to Rosemarie Pet Hospital. Zoeys Vet, Dr. Morgan Patterson assured us that she was aware of the Papillons needs. Oh, was Dr. Patterson the best vet we could ever have hoped for !!, our precious little girl bounced about, so delighted to see us. One coulnt tell she ever been under general anesthesia. We were so thrilled to have such a wonerful vet as we had in Dr. Patterson who can be found at Rosemarie Pet Hospital. All the other employees who work with Dr. Patterson are as professional, caring, and patient as can be. Thanks guys so very, very much. James & Sharon Townsend

I walked in a spoke with Phinney (misspelled, sorry) she was very helpful and upbeat. She made me and Lilo feel very warm and welcome. There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasnt a problem I understand sometimes other appointments take just a bit longer. When we were taken to the back the nurse was very fast (I believe it was the coffee) She made me laughed and it helped me open up and speak about Lilo. I informed the manager that Liloso fur look like it was spiked because I was using soybean oil to get the fleas off him. It was homemade idea I found off Google (please dont try unless you can control your cat to really rise him/her off). The vet had some concerned about the oil being on his fur and him licking it off and getting sick...So the manager offer anot on the house flea bath and I was so greatful. I know this is not normal practices but I appreciated the kind gesture. When I returned on Sunday to pick up my kitten, because he was declared and he had to stay over night...his fur was soft and shiny and I was over joyed. It has been a week since LiLoso declawing and he is healing up very well, no bleeding....but know the cone is uncomfortable ando he wants it off asap...lol. Tomorrow is his check-up appointment, hopefully he can take the cone off. This place is wonderful the staff is amazing!!!!
