This hospital is the worst in communication and healthcare! Its been 2 months but i needed to write this review. My mother was discharged from this hospital on a Saturday with a ammonia level of 200 (I was not the one who picked her up, had just arrive from NY to be with my mom) asked to be called and to explain why was she being discharge with such a high level of ammonia when the normal level of ammonia for a normal human being should be in 20 hello!!! I called the hospital 4 times I spoke to a Nurse and the same nurse took my information the 4 times i called and no one ever got back to me! My mother was so fragile and weak she didnt want to go back all she wanted was to sleep! Two days later my mother went into a Coma and Passed Away! This hospital is horrible!!! We took her to Florida Hospital and the Doctors and specialists there asked me the same question which, till this day have no answers! Why was she discharged with a ammonia Level of 200? They told me I could take legal action but of course in those difficult hard moments you dont want to think about that! Horrible service, healthcare and staff! Dont Go To this hospital!!!

It was absolutely horrible I went in only because I couldnt take my son to the pediatric urgent care in Brandon. I knew that when I took my son in what he already had because I am a nurse myself and knew what he was exposed to from football. PA or Dr. Margarita Martino-Villanueva dx my son with an "outer ear infection" despite him NOT having any ear pain and rx Cipro drops and OTC neosporin said that the discharge was from "trapped ear wax". I knew that he had Impetiago as I encounter ALL THE TIME at work but she didnt take my dx into consideration because after all she is the one with the "medical degree" long story short I took the rx used it for 4 days no improvement finally got him into to his PCP who dx him with IMPETIAGO! and put him on oral antibiotics which is now helping but not before the infection spread further under his nose and other ear. Your PA, ARNP OR DR NEEDS MORE EDUCATION!!! NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND I WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I CAN NOT TO SEEK CARE FROM THIS OFFICE.

At the time I went with my spouse to get her checked because she was feverish for a few days and after the diagnostics, it was determine a flu that was going around so the doctor recommended some over the counter pills, which worked, but heres the reason for the 2 stars. The reason for the two stars was that because we didnt pay the bill there at the time, or didnt go pay the bill at the hospital, or online, and my spouse and I, decided to pay the bill over the phone, my spouse, now has a debt collector on her, AFTER a few days, she called and paid for it. Then, a debt collector called her after few weeks saying she owes money to the hospital. Seriously? After the bill was paid off and now it was sent over to the debt collector. I looked through my transaction and found the date and how much it was paid. Seems like theres a lot of miscommunication here. Now, we have to go through the debt collector after some false documentation that was sent by them.

Went to this ER because of an asthma attack on Friday night, October 30th. They ushered me straight back to a room, and immediately started taking care of the problem. The staff could not have been any nicer. They were dressed in Halloween costumes and extremely friendly. The nurse dressed as a Minion was particularly awesome, he made sure we were very comfortable and took care of the prescribed treatments very quickly ( if you have ever experienced the terror of not being able to get a full breath, you will know how thankful I am for the speed at witch they got me hooked up to the nebulizer). They did everything they could to make the visit as inexpensive as possible, discounting medications and X-rays so that I could afford the care even though I do not have insurance. I would definitely recommend this ER for any one who is in need and in the Plant City area. Thank you very much BRH for taking care of me!

Went for upper abdominal pain and they did a CT scan. Service was ok up until then. I saw a doc once before the scan but after the scan no one came by to update me or discuss anything whatsoever. All of a sudden some clerical person comes in to hand me paperwork and discharge me. I said, "so did nothing show up on the scan? Im a bit confused." She said, "yeah I guess so. Theres a lot of viral going around so maybe its that?" I left after that very perplexed at what just occurred. "A lot of viral going around...." What a joke of a medical facility! I wonder if any qualified medical personnel even reviewed the scan? If you want to have a diagnosis and discussion of your medical emergency with a 20 year old girl who will advise you "theres a lot of viral" around, come straight here.

I have been to this location on numerous occasions. Usually out of there within a hour and a half Depending on what the doctor orders... I have always received top notch care regardless of my insurance coverage if any at all. The atmosphere is great for a hospital. The staff, nurses and doctors all have been genuine with great personalities and positive attitudes... They truly care about my health and treat me with dignity and respect. I give this place 5 stars because not only has their emergency care been accurate the hospitality is also a plus!! Thank you all that work or volunteer there you all are wonderful lively people that do a great job all around the board!!!

Had horrible experience, last time I came to this hospital a couple months ago we only saw one person for about an hour and a half just so they could take down our billing information, same thing happened again last week or so, all they care about is money, not about the well being of their patients. Boyfriends hand is still messed up since the last time he went to this hospital which was around the beginning of this year, they did nothing to help and theyre still billing him his bill even though he payed it off, terrible, terrible hospital.

My daughter (3) fell and hit face first on our tile floor. She was bloodied up a bit, but I wanted her nose checked (it bled quite a bit) just to be safe. The staff was incredibly friendly, and didnt make me feel like I was just going overboard for bringing her in. From check in, to check out they were quick yet very thorough. And handled a sleepy, in pain toddler with a lot of care. Im grateful for what was a better than expected trip to the ER/Urgent care.

They were all perfect, from the guy that checked me in, to the doctor and all staff, and most especially Alex. Admission to a room was done as soon as I finished checking in, and then I was taken very good care of from then on. Though I have nothing at all favorable to say of Brandon Hospital off of Oakfield, I cannot express my gratitude enough for the treatment last Friday night at the Brandon Hospital ER in Plant City.
