I LOVE that he really cares about his patients. He is kind, funny and respectful. I am blessed to have found Dr. Schertzer. He saved my sons life. My son has epilepsy. The pediatric neurologist was poorly treating my son. They almost poisoned him. My friend recommend Dr. S and we made an apt. In the first visit he found that my son had tons of issues due to the pills the Neurologist was giving him. We were able to get him the correct help he needed to get better. Nowadays, the health system is a business and not too many doctors care about the patients, they care about the $$$. Dr. S cares about his patients health. He really does and I am truly blessed to have found Dr. Schertzer. I usually make my apt In the morning or late afternoon and never have to wait longer than 30 min from the moment I arrive to the moment I see the Dr., he always spends a LOT of time with me. Its not just in and out. If you actually tell him whats going on with your health, he will address them. You should always go to see a doctor and have questions regarding your health. Dont ever expect for a Dr. to guess whats going on with your body. The staff is always very kind. I never had an issue.

I have been to many, many doctors over the past decade who could not give me relief or a straight-answer. They would simply advise me to return to them every 3 months for the same-old-same-old. I resigned myself to the fact that I would simply continue to go down-hill. Providence would have it that my Primary retired and I went to Dr. Schertzer for a bad cold. He asked, "How are you doing otherwise?" I told him my woeful story. He asked a few questions, and BAM! Because of the doctors keen insight and recommendations, I am feeling better and better. Yes, the staff can be less than organized at times and one is actually grumpy. I take the good with the bad. I dont know what burdens she is carrying. I sincerely appreciate my doctor and his professional and conscientious care. His office ladies could spend less time chit-chatting among themselves and pay attention to their duties. I never fill these things out, but I feel very strongly about my good-fortune to find such a treasure.

the doctor is great but i was prescribed a medication that need prior authorization and they have done nothing to get back to caremark to get the authorization so i can get the medication ..... Priorities are messed up !! update * just received a phone call from his staff to tell me that he is very angry with me for voicing my opinion about the actions of his staff even after hearing the person in the background when i first called about it stating that it didnt matter as they most likely wouldnt cover it anyways ..... this implies to me that i should feel like why bother .... my issue now is with why would you call a patient too confront them about a review ?

I WISH "ZERO" STARZ WAS AN OPTION! The service in this sub-par establishment is the absolute worst. The wait time is completely unbelievable. The SUPPORTING STAFF lacks knowledge and experience. I understand mistakes can occur from time to time. But this business definitely takes the cake for NOT taking responsibility or owning your mistakes. They are very unprofessional to say the least. They LACK THE VERY BASIC PEOPLE SKILLS... ARE VERY RUDE AND IMPERSONAL. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND FIND A BETTER DOCTOR.

Dr. Shertzer is knowledgeable in his profession but does not spend enough time with the patient (me). I was surprised that he was able to diagnose me in what seemed like a total 3 minutes of face-time. Its hit-or-miss with his staff. Sometimes they are efficient, other times they are not. I have had issues with getting them to refill my medication when the pharmacy faxes refill requests, however the staff has been generous with discount cards. Overall I am satisfied and will continue to go back for my medical needs.

Two words: Unprofessional and incompetent. My lab results could not be uploaded to my patient portal so I spent 2 days calling to have an answer. Someone finally explained they cannot email me the results but will fax it, I provided my work fax number and stressed that it is not my personal fax. I stood there for 10 mns, received the copy and walked away. This morning, I found 2 ADDITIONAL COPIES of my lab results in the copy room! Is this their definition of private information practice? Is this HIPPA compliant?

The Doctor has been my primary care physician for about four years and I am truly satisfied with every aspect of his practice. He is great at diagnosing my health problems and always has the best most cost effective solutions. His Physicians Assistant Trish is better than most M.Ds I have encountered in the past. My family has been seeing Dr. Eric Schertzer for years. My Aunts, Cousins and their children, as well as my Bubbi and grandpa have all been seeing Dr. Schertzer for at least 30 years. Dr. Schertzer, is an excellent diagnostian, he cares a lot about his wonderful PTs. I have seen physicians who spend 5 minutes in the room. I dont know what my family would do without Dr. Eric Schertzer.

Ive been seeing this doctor for over 29 years. He is wonderful; Mary is wonderful; MOST of the staff is awesome. They always take care of me. I wish they would fire Victoria, however. She is rude and unprofessional. The office would be PERFECT if it wasnt for her. I wont let one bad apple spoil the bunch though. I highly recommend the doc and his staff (except for that awful girl).

So the doctor is now taking time away from his patients to call and harrass me for my very truthful review of his staff and how I was treated when a patient of Schertzers. Full of unprofessional staff. They are extremely rude and have no basic knowledge of their medical field. The Doc is all about getting your money.

Have been with Dr. Schertzer for over 25 years and have never had an issue. He is very professional, courteous and personable. This goes for his staff as well. One does not judge a doctor by the looks of the office because he is a very busy person but most always has the time to fit you in. I highly recommend him.

Maybe the Dopctor is the "All Star Quarterback" his staff is really unfriendly that I ever had on the phone. What is wriong to answer the phone with a name and a friendly smile! I have choisen to move on and look for another Doctor maybe not a All Star but with an All Star Team!

Dont show up early for appointments. I showed up 15 minutes early and got in the room 15 minutes late. I am currently sitting in the examining room waiting to see the doctor and have been for a hour now.
