Terrible experience! Not a place for Children. My one son who is has autism they kept yelling at him. He open the door to hard claiming it was going to break glass. I repeated what he did the door does not touch glass there a barrier between building and door. I tried to then get him in seat and they yelled at him for putting his feet up in the other chair. This old fat lady was verbally abusing my special needs child who needed glasses it was horrible experience! My son was so upset we went to the dentist next door and them what happened they told my son and me it was ok and they gave him water at Lakeside village dental. There were plenty of kids in the dentist waiting room sitting on chairs with there feet in them one kid was crawling on floor and nobody yelled at The kids! Im calling my vision plan they should drop them they were not worried about my kid or helping me with him after spending over a1,000 in there office one lady was nice who actually had class the other two were unprofessional fat slobs who have no business around children. U long eye care just down the road were great they did they kids eye exam and spent 3 hours so I dont understand how one office can spend 3 hours and the other not even 5 min. They are greedy all about the money and dont care of have kid friendly people and if your a mom bringing multiple children or a handicap child special needs child they will yell at your kids most frightening experience my son has had.

A coworker recommended this place to me, and given its location, I decided to try walking in on my day off while running errands nearby. They were able to help me out, and get me an appointment for less than an hour later. Everyone was really polite and friendly, and the selection was good, too. My insurance has a pretty limited budget for new frames, but I was able to find a few options in my price range, and one pair that was exactly what I had been looking for that was well below my limit. After my appt, I was able to get fitted for the frames I selected, and they have this great program where you can pay half now and half at pick up, so I didnt have to worry about paying it all at once, either (my eyes are pretty bad, so my lenses are expensive). The doctor was very patient and put me at ease, and I definitely plan on returning, especially given how conveniently located they are. I got a text yesterday letting me know that my new glasses are ready for pick up, and what their hours are on which days of the week so that I can swing by and pick them up at my convenience! How thoughtful.

As I sit to write this review I find myself asking not “Why am I writing a review for the eye doctor?” but rather, “Why haven’t I written a review for these guys sooner?” I have been in the hospitality industry in Orlando for the past seven years. And in those years, I have met and interacted with literally thousands of hospitality professionals. Somewhere along the line I should have met the best of the best, right? Now, I mean this with the deepest of sincerity when I say that I would struggle to find a team of people better than the team at The Eye Place. Mainly my interactions have been with Britney, Shanna, Julia, Diem, and Arturro (I’m sure I misspelled a few there, sorry), but everyone else I have interacted with has been top-notch. In my years of visits I have witnessed their integrity and honesty. Their friendliness and patience. Their genuine care and professionalism. I cannot recommend The Eye Place highly enough. Thank you for making trips to the eye doctor, an otherwise unpleasant experience, something I look forward to!

My family loves The Eye Place. Professional, thorough exam and glasses contact fittings by knowledgeable doctors, technicians and staff. They are wonderful with my son. As for the prior review, I witnessed this entire thing. The child in question was in fact standing outside of the building playing with the door. It did in fact sound like the door glass hit the building- I actually went outside because I thought the door broke. I watched the staff politely ask the child not to do that as it could break the glass- and could harm the child. I then watched his mother act like a complete lunatic, screaming and ranting and at one point she called the police (why I have no idea- I attempted to tell her the police did not care and she should go outside, but she paid no attention as she continued screaming). The only verbal abuse I witnessed was on the part of the reviewer. I applaud The Eye Places handing of a very out of line customer.

As usual, my glasses problem was diagnosed immediately and I was told they would replace my frames because they were under warranty. My frames came back sooner than expected. When I came in, the young lady who examined and ordered my replacement frames was not there, but that did not matter. I was helped and on my way in no time. The people there are friendly, smart, and extremely professional and I would recommend the Eye Place to anyone looking for a glasses store.

Very friendly and knowledgeable team. The location and equipment are all new and very clean. They were accommodating on time- even though I arrived late at the end of the day, the appointment was thorough and did not feel rushed at all. Pricing was very reasonable even though Id (stupidly in hindsight) declined my eye insurance last year. Overall felt I was in very good hands and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

I like Dr. Quach, she is very thorough with the exam & her explanation-impressive!! I missed her on my last visit - hope to see her again on my next one soon.

Wonderful service and very thorough and high tech eye exam. They made my son feel completely at ease for his appointment. I was also treated with as much care and kindness as he was for my eye appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Quach. She is very personable and professional, as is all the staff we met with.
