With my first visit to Dr. Sharma, I was misdiagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I was very sick at the time. The next day, feeling even sicker, I called his office and he told me to come in to talk to him. I showed up and said that that I think I may need to go to the hospital. Dr Sharma said this was unnecessary and gave me misinformation about my condition. Two days later I ended up needing to take an ambulance and was placed in the ICU with ketoacidoses. I should not have followed his advice and went to the hospital to avoid the complications this caused me. This was 3 years ago. Yesterday I attempted to make an appointment since he was the only doctor available before Thanksgiving and I needed a doctor to refill my insulin as an emergency. Dr Sharmas staff denied me the visit with a phone call just minutes before my appointment time. Claiming I was sent to collections for a copay of an office visit the day he called me in. I was not asked for a payment at the time and it was not a regular visit. I never got any calls or bills for this. He quietly charged this as a regular visit however. Id not be here if I had listened to this doctor and now I have collections on my credit report to top it off. Avoid at all cost if you care for your health.

In a time when Doctors are more concerned about their bottom line and just churning patients through the doors, Dr. Sharma is in a league of his own. It is beyond refreshing to have him actually listen and respond to my issues rather than look at a piece of paper and type notes into a computer. He truly is someone who cares about his patients and most importantly the patient he cares about most is the one he has right in front of him at that specific time. THANK YOU DR. SHARMA!!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Sid Shama by a coworker who recommended him very highly. I have to say I was very impressed by his knowledge and bedside manner. I was immediately taken by his knowledge, warmth and compassionate nature. I feel like every one of my needs was addressed and I left his office feeling content. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician.

I highly DO NOT recommend this doctor or doctors office. The doctor wrote the prescription so unclear, the pharmacy would not fill it. And after 2 days of CVS and myself trying to reach the doctor for clarification, we gave up. They left for the weekend before following up with a patient who needed medications. VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL STAFF

Dr Sharma and his staff are very caring and considerate of your time and problems. Dr. Sharma was very patient, understanding, and you can tell her really cares about his patients. Lauren is his assistant and is also very caring and takes her time with everything. Welcome to the Wellstar Group, this was a wonderful addition.

Any doctor who calls me sweetheart, baby, honey, or sweetie, loses me as a patient. Look at my chart, find out my name, and use it. Hes a bit arrogant, quick to impress with his knowledge, but slow to listen to your problem.

Ive been going to Dr. Sharma for four years now and even for a routine physical he spends a lot of time talking about your general health and well being. I am very happy with him.

The very best experience with a real Doctor who clearly understand his profession to the fullest. Best experience ever , personable , and I can trust my health to him, NO DOUBT.

I would not recommend visiting him for any serious problems. Hes quick to give out medicine but does not actually take the time to try to understand your medical issues.
