One of our wee ones has motion sickness so I schedule both of our girls appointments for the same day to cut down on travel time, she got sick 3 times on the way to her appointment this morning. I called in before our appointment time to say we would be 5 to 10 minutes late, a nice front desk lady said that would be alright and thanks for letting them know. We pulled in 5 minutes late. My wee ones vomited in the parking lot, we walked into the office 8 minutes late. I was informed that they would no longer see one of my children because we were past our five minute mark (so they will only see one of my children, not the other and we would have to make another trip out for the other child next week). I wish they would have informed me of their five minute rule when I called in, we would have avoided a very stressful morning for my poor baby girl. Ive called 3 different offices in our area and they all said that was ridiculous and that Locust Grove Pediatrics should have cared more about their patient than that. There is more than this one incident we are not happy with but this was our final straw, we will not be going back.

This whole practice is great! The office staff is efficient and friendly. Dr. Mynatt and his nurse practitioners are fantastic with kids and keeping me up to date one where they should be with their milestones and helping me help my children. They have always been able to see my children on the same day when they were sick. Highly recommend them!

4 stars is for the friendly staff only. I dont see why appointments are even made when you sit in the waiting room for an hour and then another 30/40 min in the back room. This appointment literally takes 10 min. This is absolutely ridiculous
