DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! 2 Issues here: care and billing: 1. The care was subpar at best. The staff was rude and the facility was dirty. My child was vomiting with high fever. I was essentially told it was a "virus" and sent home. When the symptoms persisted I later took my child to our pcp (a real pediatricians office) and my child was diagnosed with strep and had inadvertently exposed several children at school based off of inaccurate information from this office! 2. I was in need of after hours care for my child and called this facility prior to coming. I googled "pediatric urgent care mcdonough ga" and they were the 1st facility on the list below CHOA urgent care which was closed. I called this facility and they stated they "take all insurances". However, they bill as "primary care" and not "urgent care" - which is the billing typically used for after hour care centers. They were completely out of network for my insurance and I was stuck with a massive bill. I called the facility several times to clarify and received conflicting information and they were not willing to work with me. One time, being told to wait to pay the bill while they refiled with my insuarnce and the next getting ridiculously rude phone calls from a collections company they hired stating I had to pay them (them being the collecitons company) and not the facility; and it was immoral to take services without paying . Overall this has been a horrible and shady experience that has resulted in not only me never going there again but also telling everyone I know that they shouldnt either.

Mother arrived to find an empty office at 2:00 pm, Sunday. Overall healthy 7 yr. old white male, chest congestion, slight fever, but flushed, tired and had been coughing for about 36-46 hours. Dr. T. Moss, on duty, checked overall skin condition (no signs of abuse), looked in mouth, listened to mother and told her that she is reluctant to prescribe cough syrup. [end] Doctor went into an office and sat down. The mother asked the doctor if she was through with child.... Doctor replied, "Yes." (Co-pay: $80.00 paid c/c: at arrival.) No tests run. Didnt, really, seem to care. Mom very unhappy, calls Dad. I arrive at office at about 5:00pm after work. While waiting for the receptionist, I held the door open for one of the employees to carry in a half a dozen milkshakes obviously for the staff. After engaging with the receptionist the Doctor appeared and asked me if the childs condition had changed? I told her that I had not seen my son as of this afternoon." I asked what did you think? She turned and walked away. {mom mad, dad mad} Whatever, $60.00 lost, whats new... Childs condition didnt improve through the evening.. fever got worst, coughing got worse, too. Finally, primary, found pneumonia in right lung, started meds, major improvement, child better. Lesson learned... But, Quicktrip doctors have the tools to run tests... you have to go somewhere when you child gets sick on the weekend... But, DONT TAKE THEM HERE!

I took my child on a Saturday due to cough, congestion, fever and pulling on her ear. The doctor (name unknown) was a tall slim lady around 40 with long Brown hair. She was a nice enough lady however, I was told that my daughter did not have an ear infection and although there was cough and congestion, nothing would be prescribed to her. I was told that it would last 2 weeks and didnt need to be treated. On Monday my daughters cough was in her chest. I took her to her regular peditrician on Tuesday where we found out she does have an ear infection and 3 antibiotics were prescribed. I will not be bringing my daughter to this place ever again.

Took my 6 month old on a Sunday morning with a high fever. I was in and out in less than an hour. The doctor was very thorough, diagnosed something my regular pediatrician had never even considered. This was such a pleasant experience compared to an urgent care or the ER. I wish this could be my regular pediatrician, honestly. This is my go to place for after hours care for my child and I will never stress about it again.

I have taken 3 of my kids here and have had fast service and amazing doctors. The nurses made my scared child feel welcomed and safe. They treated him well and made sure we didnt have any questions when we left. They have also called the next day to check on my child. Made us feel like we were cared about beyond us being some random patient that they were never going to see again.

I had a good experience with Primary Pediatrics. I was skeptical about visiting this establishment due to some of the reviews. However,my choices were limited due to it being a Sunday,so I decided to give them a try .I was in and out in less than an hour. Its always good to give everyone a chance and judge for yourself.

Have never had a bad experience here. Sometimes i dont even waste time with making an appointment at my childs regular doctor i just wait until they open, if not an emergency.

On a Sunday morning we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. My son got the antibiotics he needed for his ear infection and was quickly on the road to recovery!
