This 1 pt. is for Dr. Abtin only and his 1 assistance.. The other staff members there were nice and kind. I was a patient there and I had a very horrible visit experience there on June 28th , 2016 with the Oral surgeon guy to extract a tooth. I saw Dr. Abtin , oral doctor appointment was 11:00 am on the june 28 for the first time. Never heard of him and did not know him. . This doctor was awful, terrible, horrible. I must admit I did not check him out and asked around about his dental performances when told I would see him... I had never heard of him. Now I know why. Terrible. He disfigured my face, painful removal of the tooth crashing, face swollen(red, ,blue, black, purple colors) from top of my eye, temper, to my chin. eye closed temporarily down. I have pictures. Wound is still paining , gum terribly still swollen. What a terrible out raged experience. I dont have any medical problems. Bp was not accurately taken and she laughed about it .. my my what an unprofessional experience with Mr.Abtin. I am still in pain , swollen five days later still. Advice to patients: check out a doctor you are going to see to attend to your dental health. when I close my mouth now my gum is painfully on my bottom teeth from the top. God is my witness. Worst dental experience ever from this Denistry with Dr. Abtin. (overlook my errors please still hurting and in pain. I knew zero about Dr. Abtin and thought I would trust him. what a terrible mistake trusting him.... Sincerely, Sonya Fl, Ed.S. *The General Denistry Doctor and Assistance I came in contact with first were very caring and professional I give those two five stars. check out my GOOGLE + site. I have a very extensive medical history with a complicated dental history to go along with it. I was referred to Dr. Nia by a couple of friends and one of his current employees. Dr. Nia, the centers hygienists and office staff are amazing at working alongside of my other doctors in order to assure continuity of care and assuring my safety and security has been taken care of over the last year. Recently, Dr. Nia stopped seeing patients in order to move towards his next phase of his career with the practice but still oversees my case. Over the last few weeks I have worked hard with Amanda C. to get scheduled in with a Dr. who would be able to properly handle me with my medical history. Today Dr. Austin stepped up, when other Dr.’s wouldn’t, and took care of my dental needs to get a very hard cavity and filling accomplished. Whenever I come in the staff recognizes me immediately, because attached to me comes my service dog which is hard to miss. The staff is always professional, the front desk greets me with a smile to check me in, I was taken care of promptly to take care of my billing since I was there a little early today, when I was called back I was introduced to my first hygienists who was very kind in sharing that she was a dog lover and asking if she could help me get Thia, my Service Dog In Training, settled in. I thanked her and told her no, showed her our process, let Thia meet her in case something were to happen to me, shared what to do in case of emergency and we got down to business. Dr. Austin came in and was great with me she spoke to me about everything that was going on, when she had some problems due to the nature of me teeth she shared that with me, talked me through everything and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was in no pain and doing okay. My biggest complaint about this center is while waiting in the waiting room every time, and again today for my mom, whose appointment was first so I was there for and hour and a half, all of the doors especially the ones leading to the outside, shut heavily creating a very disturbing loud banging noise. With people constantly coming in and out, because this practice is very busy, and then inside doors with the staff going in and out doing their job and getting patients the banging. It sometimes just makes me want to scream. I feel so bad for the people who sit up front having to listen to the banging of the doors all day long because it is very loud. I know there are better ways that the doors could be taken care of on the outside and inside. That is my only complaint. Thank You

I initially started going to this center based on the reviews of others and switched from another pediatric dentistry because of I was expecting this outstanding service that people raved about. My 3 experiences have been on the pediatric side, twice with Dr. Nana, and another time with a substitute Dr. when Dr. Nana was on maternity leave. The first time I encountered Dr. Nana, about six months ago, she was very pregnant so I brushed that feeling of being rushed and impatient off due to knowing how it is to be pregnant. This experience today when both my children were done, an assistant came to talk with me and said "they dont have cavities" and that was the end of the report on their teeth and was I escorted to be checked out. What if I had more questions? What about their brushing habits? I mean I am happy they did not have cavities but when Dr. Nana was on maternity leave my experience was much better. The substitute dentist (I think he was part owner) explained in detail about what was going on with both my childrens teeth as if he were a dentist and wanted me to know. This time, when I asked for more information, the assistants went to find someone and they found Dr. Nana who gave me that feeling again like she had other things to do and I was bothering her by asking her more questions, although she did answer them. There also was an assistant who noticed our conversation and offered to answer my questions instead, which shows me that Dr. Nana could have been doing something else, and I (the customer) should be helped by "the help". I havent experienced the other side of this place, which is what most people are raving about, but from my experience so far on the pediatric side, I am not impressed; there seems to be confusion, tension, and many other things going on behind the scenes as I tend to pick up on body language. If I find a better dentistry I will make my way there. SUGGESTIONS: Because children are getting their teeth cleaned and parents are not usually there with them, make up a paper for parents that offers how their teeth are on a scale of 1-10 once the visit is over. Make a section on it that says what they could be doing better or think of something else along these lines that will aide in giving us more information other than "They dont have cavities, now please check out".
