If I could give no stars I would! Our German Shepherd hurt his paw and we called Carol Stream animal hospital to see if we could get him in. They said it was an "urgent" visit and charged us double because they double booked appointments. They barely examined our dog! Penny (vet tech) was extremely rude. She kept saying to my husband "its been a long busy day". She was getting frustrated with our dog because he wouldnt sit still. They muzzled him 3 times and he kept getting out. The Dr ended up prescribing medicine and saying if it isnt better in 3-5 days come back for xray but the animal WILL BE sedated. We ended up spending $160 for nothing! I wasnt happy with the answers we received so we took him to Glendale animal hospital. They took an xray (without sedation) were able to examine him (without a muzzle) and prescribed a different medication (that doesnt cause seizures) and now our dog is all better! Even tho we can see Carol stream animal hospital from our home, well be driving the extra few minutes to go to Glendale animal hospital!

Great, caring, compassionate people when my cat took ill and died shortly after a brief fight with cancer. I thought they were a little over priced on their euthanasia services and I thought it was ridiculous I was given a SALE PITCH for my beloved pets remains. The company they use for cremation is a rip off. You dont have to use them, you do have a choice! I went with a local pet crematory business located in Bloomingdale. MUCH more affordable.

We LOVE Carol Stream Animal Hospital. I switched my dog to them about two years ago & have had nothing but positive experiences here. They are extremely knowledgable, but also kind and compassionate towards your pet. They are awesome about getting you in quickly if your pet is sick or hurt (this is why I switched from my old vet - when my dog is hurting I dont want to wait 3 days for an appointment!).
