I have been going to Jordan Creek for over five years now (since moving to Iowa.) I cannot say enough wonderful things about the vets, techs, and front desk staff. I currently have a nearly eight month-old kitten who came from a very unhealthy environment. Dr. Whitney and Dr. Kueter have gone so far above and beyond to nurture him and see that he has beaten all of the odds. He was recently well enough to be neutered and microchipped, and it went flawlessly. They kept me updated throughout the entire day on how he was doing. They have been so thorough, beyond patient with me, explained every step we took, had special medications compounded, retrieved medical records from his siblings - and all with great compassion and honesty. I cannot imagine receiving this quality of care anyplace else. They are also an accredited AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) veterinary hospital. This means that they are in a minority of vet hospitals / clinics that are held to and meet VERY high standards of excellence in care in all areas. Prior to my kitten, Dr. Kueter cared for my two senior kitties who moved here with multiple medical problems. They lived long full wonderful lives, and I know it was because of the great medical care and love she gave them. Procedures, costs, and recommendations are always explained ahead of time. I have come in with lists of questions, and not a single one has gone unanswered. They have been generous with their time and effort and are truly passionate about what they do. I have never been turned away when my cats needed to be seen ASAP, follow-up calls were made to me out of genuine concern, and Ive always felt confident that my "fur babies" were in the best of hands and hearts here. I have presented them with some very challenging situations with my cats, and they have always been up to and met the challenges with great knowledge, expertise, and energy. I truly cannot imagine going anyplace else, and I feel very fortunate to have found them. (My parents also took their cats here for over ten years prior to moving out of state, and I know they feel the same way.) The breadth of experience here is vast, and I know the staff stays very current with preventative treatment options and medicine in general. I have shared many laughs and some tears with the front desk, techs, and vets over the years (as I see my cats as my "kiddos"). I fully trust Jordan Creek with the care of my babies, and I dont say that lightly. They are an amazing team! Thank you to all of you!

I used Jordan Creek Animal Hospital a while back because of convenience. Theyre close to my house. While I had a moderate experience on the hospital side (good vets, I just think they overcharge for services, and they recommend everything they can to maximize billings), where I had the really bad experiences was on the boarding side. I quit using them a while back because the boarder gave my dog a flu shot without my permission, then charged me for it. My only communication back then was, "Bring him back for a booster." I never returned... ...until recently. I had to do because the new place I board my dog was full -- my options were limited. I called JCAH and the lady on the phone negotiated the boarding drop off and pick up. No issues, nice enough. When I dropped my dog off, the lady up front asked if I had a copy of recent shots, and I didnt. Fair enough question, and she simply handed me a card and noted their fax number to fax it in, which I did within an hour. My biggest complaint, though is when I picked my dog up after my trip. First of all, I wasnt greeted. Then when I was acknowledged , it was simply my dogs name as a question. When I affirmed, I was told, "I shouldnt even have boarded him...he hasnt had his flu shot." I apologized, but no one ever told me that was a requirement. The next thing I was told was, "I also shouldnt have taken him because he doesnt get his services done here, and I dont like to board dogs who get services done other places." That was the extent of the exchange, other than me paying. My simple solution is to never return, not even if my other options are limited. This if my first review online...I felt (and still feel) that bad about how they treated me.

We have had a long relationship with Jordan Creek Animal Hospital. I believe all the veterinarians there to be more than "just" competent. Everyone Ive encountered has shown kindness and care for our pets and for us. There are pet owners who balk at preventative care for their pets. I look at that differently. Its one thing to take your pet in for an acute illness or injury and have it treated satisfactorily. Its quite another to find a vet paying close attention to what your animal needs to STAY well. If you have a pet with a chronic illness or something deadly serious, believe me, youll *want* a veterinarian who knows your pet and is knowledgeable enough to give it to you straight. You will want people you trust around you. You will want a well-equipped hospital. There are always options you are free to choose - or not - without judgment. Everyones situation is different. Everyone has limits as to what they can or are willing to spend. I highly recommend Jordan Creek because of the excellent care my pets have had there. I am impressed by the caliber of their veterinarians, the physical facility and the emphasis on further education Dr. Whitney places upon himself and his staff. I dont think youll be disappointed.

Ive been taking my pets—a nine-year-old domestic shorthair and a four-year-old labradoodle—to JCAH for several years now, and I am very pleased. The staff is incredibly friendly to my husband and me, very approachable, they respond to emails and calls promptly, and they go out of their way to make our pets feel comfortable. Ive seen a couple different veterinary doctors at this location (Dr. Whitney and Dr. Kueter) and sincerely believe they put my pets best interests in mind. The care isnt cheap, but I believe you get what you pay for, and I want quality care for my pets. Additionally, I dont feel that they recommend procedures and tests that arent necessary, so I feel that they respect and understand my needs as a pet owner on a budget. I will continue to take my beloved pets here, even though there are many more options closer in proximity and more affordable. We couldnt be happier!

They are very caring. There care is excellent.. its not the cheapest in the area but i would rate as near the best or possibly the best. You get what you pay for. I did lot of research before I moved vets. I watched them and how they handled the dogs they boarded. I watched how they treated the dogs staying with them by how they handled their lead. They walk the boarded dogs often...they seem very contentious. They have been accused of trying to sell extra services. I havent found that they offer any more than is necessary. They do offer comprehensive service and land on the side of more care than less care. There are times when i choose less care. Weve been there in time of emergency and they were super helpful. They did a follow up call to make sure that Sampson was doing well.
