DESPICABLE TURN AROUND TIME... I brought my daughter in for a physical appointment on April 13, 2017. During that time I dropped off four different physical forms for her to attend camps during the summer. The doctor I saw said she couldnt take them and that I needed to turn them into Records. I turned them into Records and told them I need them as soon as possible and that I would come pick them up once they called me and told me they were ready. I was told there is a 10 day turnaround. On Friday, May 6, 2017, I received a call from the Kaiser medical center and Gaithersburg stating my daughter needed to come back in for two immunizations they believe she is missing: meningitis and HPV. I told them that I checked over her medical records that are required immunizations that she needs to have at nine years old she does have, since the HPV vaccination is not mandatory, I wanted some more time to think about it and I was not ready to make a decision at this juncture. I also added that HPV vaccine is not mandatory anywhere at nine years of age and that Im not bringing her back in for that anytime soon. In continuing form, the recommended age for meningitis is 11 years old. I am just really offended to get a call asking me to bring my child back in for vaccinations when they are only open during business hours and I just had an appointment less than a month ago. My opinion is any immunizations that needed to be taken should have been taken at that time. I am so offended that this office has held onto my physical forms since April 13 and call me almost a month later with the worlds lamest excuse as to why they are not filled out. Now no one can do anything until I talk to the doctor. So those forms I sent are sitting in limbo and the doctor cant call me back until later on this week. We are going into the middle of May. I requested to talk with the doctor directly so we can get to the bottom of this. This was my first visit here and it is definitely my last. My final impression ....tragically unimpressed

If you are there with either on medicaid or Obama care. They will treat you differently, you also unable to look up any prescriptions, medical records, making any appointments or sending/receiving message to your doctors/staffs. I think the most part that need to be corrected is theirs online system .............................................................................. And if you will be going to use your benefit to have your lens prescription, it will cost much more than Walmart and also have to wait longer even though you have an appointment. And also both glasses and contact lens there cost much more than Walmart and online. ---> the point is you paid for insure your health---> when you could not see that not healthy, why you should be charge much more than outside place you arent pay monthly with. ............................................................................... The phone waiting time is always reasonable, they will answer your call shortly. Well performed most of the time. ..... ......................................................................... Doctors and nurse seems ok but they will be with you flashing and late, overbook appointments are always usually accepted there. But we received vaccinations and health assist as needed.

Outstanding. Ive been a Kaiser member my entire life and choosing to continue my care with them for my family was a no-brainer. Before switching to my insurance, my wife had to play phone tag with her doctor and insurance for even the most basic of appointments. No more. Appointments are easy to schedule, physicians easy to contact by email, and having all the services under one roof is fabulous. Example - I had an unusual, viral hearing loss. My doctor was on vacation, so I was able to see another doctor within 24 hours. She was referred me to auditory and made the appointment for me from the exam room. Once at auditory, they did tests and made an appointment for me with ENT - again, from the exam room. No need for me to call around, figure out who was covered under my insurance, and so on. And once they figured out the course of treatment, my prescription was available at the pharmacy on my way back to my car.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the Gaithersburgs Medical Centers Administrative Manager, Jerry Hildreth. He was very pleasant, friendly and most of all wonderful. I didnt realize he was the Administrative Manager because we were talking about outdoor essentials etc. He told me about an item I was unaware of and printed out the details. I was so proud of the way he took the time to talk and walked back to my appointment. I told him that my experiences at this Center had been excellent due the dedicated staff in Urology, ENT (Dr. Sater) youre the best, Dr. G my primary, Dr. Horton, Podiatry, and all the rest of the doctors on Staff at Kaiser. You are number "1" in my book. I have never had a bad experience at any of your Centers. Finally, Maureen Stadler you are outstanding! I love and will always be a member of Kaiser. JoAnn Smith

Be warned, most the staff thinks that if you have an id card you get all care without additional fees/co pays family maximums . yearly blood work cost me 265. this year before it was 65. with blue cross. So anyway tell your provider you are on the HMO with deductible so only really critically needed tests such as the 250 dollar X RAY ON MY TEENS FINGERTIP at urgent care recently.the intake nurse said an xray on it wasnt needed but when provider examined it she ordered a test that just to be nice I guess , either that or maybe this is fraud... be warned I asked up front desk that night that their would be no charges be warned

My wife she is pregnant and she had heavy bleeding on Last Friday, I called customer care and they told us to go to agent care for get ultrasound, our appointment time was 6.15 PM and we were there till 9.00PM to see a doctor, I think her name is starting y or u they called U, anyway we were there to get check vaginal bleeding and ultrasound, they dont do nothing and asked as to go ER or come on Monday, this is the worst agent care I have ever been, they charged $50.00 co payment and I argue with them and finally returned, Kaiser is worst insurance company, I have to stay with Kaiser because of our company.

Some doctors here like one Patella in the gynecology department is a disaster and bad staff that doesnt care for her patient. I nearly lost my cool by the way she treated my wife when she was our gynecologist. I was happy when she was replaced...However there are many good doctors and nurses that cares in this center but there is every need for some nurses to improve on the way they talk to theirs patients..Some nurses here are rude and talks very rudely to patients.Notwithstanding, I will recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a health care provider. I love my Kaiser!!
