Chico is a canine that is hyper-active, over friendly and spoiled. He thinks he is best in class of Terriers even though I cant find his papers to enter him. OK, maybe he has no papers, but you get the idea I hope. The staff and Doctors at Chesapeake are great with him. Chico remains calm, and with the help of the wonderful vet techs he does not seem to mind any of their shots, temperature checks, x-rays and even nail clippings. Over the last couple decades I have adopted countless street dogs and I am grateful to have finally found an all round great clinic. The team at Chesapeake provides a high quality response every time and at a reasonable price. Lori Giuffré, DVM (Chief of Staff?) is an outstanding professional - my dogs have been her patients for over a decade. You can feel the cooperation among the staff when you visit. It is worth the 28 mile drive I make to take Chico to Chesapeake Animal Clinic based on quality, responsiveness and price.

This is one of the best vet offices Ive been to, and Ive been to ones in other parts of the country. The staff is very friendly, and the vets dont make you feel pressured into any type of diagnostic testing or treatments. I had been really worried about my cat for the past two days because she had been throwing up a lot and not eating, and even though their schedule was full, they found a way to fit me in on the same day I called. I was pretty insistent that xrays should be done on my cat to make sure she didnt have a blockage anywhere, and the vet told me that there were no signs of anything concerning on the exam, and that shed give my cat a cerenia injection and to come back for X-rays if she throws up again within 24 hours. You can definitely tell that everyone is there to help the animals, where as some vet offices it seems like people are there just to make money. Im very appreciative of them and what they did for me and my cat today.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Was able to make a same-day appointment for my dog Luigi for an semi-emergency. Was able to easily fax them his medical records from my local vet. The doctor evaluated Luigi thoroughly and took the time to perform thoughtful and appropriate tests/treatments. She let me know the ball-park prices for recommended items, such as x-rays, so that I could participate in the decision-making and keep track of costs. She demonstrated compassion for my dog and asked for me to call in the next morning to report how he did overnight. Overall was extremely pleased with the care provided!

Ive been taking my cats to the clinic for about 12 years now and wouldnt take them anywhere else. The doctors and staff are the most compassionate people Ive ever dealt with. Theyve helped me keep my fur babies healthy and treat each one of them as one of their own. As my feline family has dwindled over the years through illness and old age, theyve been right there with me, with sympathy and caring every time. If youre looking for a clinic to take your beloved pets, you wont ever find a place better than Chesapeake Animal Clinic. I just cant say enough good things.

I have used the Clinic for more than 20 years. They have always given my pets first class care. I like that you dont feel pressured to get through your appointment and that they are willing to help you in any way possible. For emergencies, I have always been taken in promptly. Recently I had to put down my 15 year old dog, Sandy. The entire staff was very supportive and compassionate. If I get another pet, Chesapeake Animal Clinic will be my choice for a veterinarian. I highly recommend the clinic.

The staff at Chesapeake Animal Clinic has always been on time, professional and compassionate. Every time I have had to bring my little Cocoa in to be seen they have been very thorough and have always checked on her in a couple days via the phone with me. I would recommend this office to anyone and their fur baby because they truly are a caring office all around from reception to vet tech to vet they all really care about your animal.
