Providence Family Medical Clinic has been my provider for a few years. The first time I went I had a doctor and interns. In subsequent visits, while I was not able to get that doctor without a long lead time, I was able to get appointments with other clinicians. They have been thorough, kind, done all reasonable tests, and are always very up to date with what is happening both to me and in the field. Ive gone through a couple of chronic illnesses with them and they always have good suggestions and recommendations. I have been able to get same day appointments for things that are urgent, and they are unfailingly kind, supportive, and helpful. I am really happy with the care Ive gotten here.

When I moved to the area I switched my primary care to this location & I was shocked about the quality of this physical. Previous physicals Ive had have included vision tests, examining ears, throat, hernia check - none of that happened here. The doctor or nurse practitioner or whoever it was actually discouraged me from getting further physicals because they said I was healthy - I have a family history of various serious medical issues so that seems pretty dumb to me. The apt was mostly a series of questions. This entire Providence location is bizarre.

Can never actually get an appointment with my PCP. Have been trying to call the office to schedule an appointment for the last 2 hours but "the office is closed for a short meeting". They contact faster through mychart but without an examination assume they know whats wrong. My guess is they spend more time on their computers than with patients.

Its hard to ever schedule an appointment, and when I called I just kept getting transferred.
