I had knee surgery to repair a torn ACL in the summer of 2014 and 2nd procedure done a couple months later due to complications with my knee. Today, I am still unable to walk normally or run at all. Dr. Sandmeier refuses to believe anything could have gone wrong with surgery and simply blames physical therapy or the way my body recovers from surgery. I called a larger clinic today and they asked me who my surgeon was. After letting them know, the woman chuckled and said they get a lot of referrals from him. Or course I asked if thats a good thing or a bad thing, and she had nothing positive to say and tried to just politely say hes been doing surgeries for a long time. I hate myself for not doing more research about doctors/surgeons before my surgery. Just doing a google search on Dr. Sandmeiers name will reveal many stories similar to mine. Over $6000 later (and I have insurance), I am worse off than before surgery, torn ACL and all. Months and months of agonizing therapy, which felt like torture at the time. Now I get to do it all over again with another clinic.

I have been a patient with Dr. Khine in the GI Dept. for several months. I am currently looking for another provider because dealing with the Portland Clinic has been an endless exercise in frustration. I like Dr. Khine, but his staff are rude and unprofessional. They do not return phone calls or email messages, and are uninformed and unhelpful when you are finally able to reach someone. It is too bad because Dr. Khine does a good job, but the staff are so incompetent that Im choosing to go elsewhere for care.

I called a few minutes before hours to see if I could get in today for my foot/ankle that urgent care wasnt helpful with at all. The lady answers with "Portland clinic. Its before hours." I called 5 minutes before they open just so I could know if I need to call around to other doctors. Quite the greeting I would say. Simply could have not answered the phone if it was just going to be a rude interaction. My leg is completely swollen and just had one question.

Exceptionally friendly staff. My experience with the advice nurse on the phone - as well as her in person - was one of the best Ive ever received from medical staff anywhere that Ive had medical care. The doctor was also fantastic. Everything was expedient, everyone had a smile on their face - despite me coming in right before they closed and staying until after they closed - and they saw to it that everything I needed was taken care of including follow-up.

Great! I was scared to be put under sedation, anesthesiologist was reassuring and experience (colonoscopy) was not discomforting in any way. Staff here have been helpful, they sent results of my test panels to other Drs so I wouldnt have to repeat tests, very helpful, saved me lots of time.

Staff was friendly. Nurses were knowledgeable. Rated 3 because the doctors seems hit or miss. This time I spent 1 minute talking to a Dr followed by him working at the computer for the next 5. When he did talk to me again it was armed crossed.

I regret getting ACL surgery from Dr. Sandmeier. Still not the same. You can tell when a doctor is confident in his work when he asks you, "Did it work?"..... Doctors these days..... look elsewhere

My primary care dr gwilliam and ENT dr Esmer are amazing!! I love that I can call and talk to an advice nurse and get an answer from my doctor within a few hours!

I called in and talked to a nurse right away, she was very helpful. When I went in I saw a doctor in less then 15min, awesome!! I felt like she listened.

Urgent care was really quick and friendly. I was in and out in less than a hour. Also the staff was very curious and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

This phone number does not go to an Urgent Care. When I called the gentlemen said some how this number was listed but it is for Girl Scout meetings.

I found it to be very impersonal. Had my ears checked, $850.00 visit, ear wax removal was billed as surgery. I would not recommend going there.

Not an urgent care!! My husband was dehydrated, they couldnt put him on an iv fluid!! Pointless to go there for an minor emergency!!
