I dont often write reviews but Im happy to be doing one for my dogs vet, the Holt Vet Clinic in Dallas, TX. The whole staff is very friendly, Ive had a chance to meet Dr. Baxter as well as each of his younger vets and theyve all been helpful and patient each time. And the vet techs and front desk people have been the same people for the last couple of year, telling me they are good workers and Holt Clinic is good place to work. Dr. Baxter and the others have even called to check on my cat and dog after sick visits. I also love that they have a drop-in (no appointment needed) system during the weekdays. AND they are open half day Saturday for scheduled appointments, very convenient for working people like me. We are very happy with our vets.

I have been going to Holt for almost 10 years now and everytime I go its little more expensive and I feel like Im getting ripped off. It seems things have started going downhill and the prices have been going up. Just because they built a new place doesnt mean the customers need to pay for it! I dont get the warm friendly feeling I used to get when I walk in the door. I am very disappointed and most likely will not be going there anymore. I have 4 dogs and have been a long time customer so you would think they wouldnt try to rip your head off everytime you walk through the door!

You could not ask for a nicer staff or more knowledgeable and kind vets. I found them totally by accident when my greyhound was being boarded at a nearby facility and was injured. They took such great care of his wound that I immediately switched over to their practice and have been there ever since. Dr Bratton was so compassionate and understanding when my 16 year old sweet kitty was on the decline. He called to check on her and helped me make the right decisions.

My dog Max is a rescue dog with issues--kind of high strung and a bit unpredictable. The entire staff treats him with gentleness and professional expertise. They also show respect for my pocketbook, which my husband really appreciates. All of Maxs health problems have been handled successfully and the cost has been reasonable.
