BEWARE leaving your animal With "Dr" Keri Hill Jones! She TORTURED MY FOUR MONTH OLD KITTEN IN FRONT OF ME, removing her from her safe jacket and manipulating her forcefully, crushing her back legs and tail, gripping her scruff so hard the whites of her eyes were showing, her mouth was peeled back, and she was screaming in pain. To get away from this "doctor" my kitten tried to claw her self away, and bit her. THE WOMAN JUST SMILED AS MY KITTEN BIT HER FOR FIVE 1...2...3...4...5... SECONDS, and the vet tech and I were horrified and IN SHOCK! Unresponsive to the vet tech speaking her name in horror, and me demanding she let go of my kitten, SHE CONTINUED TO GRIP MY KITTEN AND MANIPULATE HER INTO A STRETCHED POSITION, rather than put her down. My kitten bit her again, crying out in distress and pain, and I had to PHYSICALLY AND FORCEFULLY RETRIEVE MY FOUR MONTH OLD KITTEN FROM THIS CRAZED PSYCHOPATH. I am not exaggerating. The woman never said a word as she took my kitten out of her jacket, Nor a word as she crushed my kittens legs and peeled her skin back, nor a word as the vet tech cried her name, nor a word as I cried out for her to drop my kitten. I am sick and horrified this woman handles animals. If she can do this to my face, what can she do BEHIND YOUR BACK? The vet tech drew her blood 30 minutes later, from the jacket I EASILY PUT HER BACK INTO, within 10 seconds

i took my dogs to Kileen veterinary clinic today for there annual shots and need less to say i was not pleased at all with the service i had received when i was at Killeen Veterinary clinic. Me and my wife sat in the waiting room for close to 45 minutes before being seen that took all of 10 minutes and yes we did have an appointment set up. Once we are take back they weigh my chihuahua and say she is over weight at a weight of 8 pounds and the lady that weight her had her hands on her during the weight in. Me and my wife weighted her when we got home and she weighted 6.8 pounds within her normal tolerance so that right there showing me that they cant even do a simple task like that got me off on the wrong foot. after that we proceed back to the room witch i seen about 5 workers standing around wondering what to do talking it up while customers were in the waiting room waiting to be seen. Both my husky and chihuahua get there shots and there so called WELLNESS CHECK UP. witch me and my wife see when we go to check out and that so called WELLNESS CHECK UP is 45$ per dog and my whole time with the doctor took all of 5 minutes. so when we seen that on the bill me and my wife paid it and left and will not be retunring to Killeen veterinary clinic. Hope this is helpful to anyone who reads it.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this clinic for my dogs allergies. I had recently relocated to the area and needed to get a refill for my dogs prednisone prescription. Dr. Jones talked down to me like I was a terrible owner due to my dogs secondary infections, which is common with dogs on steriods because it suppresses the immune system to control the allergies. She also talked like the vets that treated my dog in the past were incompetent in identifying and treating my dogs allergies. She pressured me to have the dog allergy tested, which is extremely expensive and the shots designed to treat the allergies identified may not even work to alleviate my dogs condition. I was also pressured to keep my dog on a flea treatment regimen that is not necessary as she is not exposed to fleas in the environment where we live now. I have a PhD in Genetics from the College of Veterinary Medicine at A&M where I studied veterinary health, immunology, and parasitology so I have a good handle on the cause, pathology, and treatment for both allergies and parasites. I have owned my dog for over 5 years and worked closely with at least 3 other veterinarians to determine the cause, and implement a safe and effective treatment plan for my dog. I will not use Killeen Veterinary Clinic again!!!

Ive brought two of my dogs in my little one stepped on some glass and I wanted to be sure the cut was healing well. They prescribed an antibiotic powder which I shouldve known was unnecessary but I bought it anyways because I was worried. They did nothing wrong just suggested it and I was afraid so I agreed. I forgot to put the powder on and he healed up just fine. The visit was $80 including medications. The vet was super nice and she did great handling my nervous pup. I asked a question about a bump he had on his neck and she just told me to wait a few weeks and if it didnt go away to come back. Honestly I wish I wouldve just persisted because now I have to pay the office visit fee again. They were all very nice and friendly! I just felt like the visit was a tad rushed. The other time I came with my dog was my larger German Shepherd. He had just been neutered at Texas Vets for Pets and his incision looked infected. Turns out it was! We had another vet that day, a male. He was super attentive and prescribed an antibiotic. Infection cleared right up and all was well. All in all its a good office! They were sweet to my pups. My only issue was being told to return another day for my dogs skin bump.

Have been bringing our animals threre for more than 12 years now. Never had bad service. The techs and reception staff are polite and knowledgeable. Wait times in the lobby - with an appointment - are usually less than 10min. The vets - whether Dr. Buckley, Dr. Jones, Dr. Smonko, or any of the new or former veterinarians there - have all been attentive, caring, and my favorite - practical. Never had my bill padded or racked with unnecessary expenses. No one has ever tried to talk us into expensive procedures or meds that have no better outcome than less costly treatment options. Theyve even written some of our more common scrips in human drug names so we could fill them at a pharmacy of our choosing. We have had two of our pets there for their "final" visit, as well, and they were more understanding and compassionate than anyone could ask for - allowing us as much time as we needed to say goodbye, giving our pets final moments all the dignity they deserved. Even sent flowers and/or a card after the fact. In short, youre not just a client number or a wallet with legs here. Youre a real person, and thats why we keep going back.

Killeen Vet Clinic has always taken the best care of my pets - I have a little mixed breed that developed seizures early on - they helped to find the right levels of meds, and she is now controlled. Later she lost control of her back hips - It was actually caused by one of the seizure meds, and Dr. Buckley spent many hours researching it, to identify what might have caused it - When we removed the one med, and adjusted the other - the results were nothing short of miraculous! Within 2 weeks, my pet was back up, and running! Later, she developed diabetes - shes had a rough life. We have the diabetes pretty much under control now for going on 5 years. Shes gone blind now, but shes still a happy loving (puppy). Weve made a lot of accommodations for her, and the Clinic has been with us every step of the way, guiding and assisting us with knowledge and loving care. Thanks Guys & Gals - Youre all the Best!
