I am a mother to three children under the age of five and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Garza and his entire staff. We have been treated like family and thus, view everyone at La Altura Pediatrics as such. Dr. Garza and his nurses have been wonderful with my children. He is extremely conservative with issues of health, and very compassionate with mattters of the heart. I have full confidence in his practice and trust his ability to properly care for my children. I have called the clinic with a sick child countless times and have not once been denied the ability to see Dr. Garza the same day, if that was my desire. He, along with his staff, go above and beyond the call of duty to treat my children. He has made hospital visits and called in prescriptions before and after hours, without hesitation. He even spent his lunch break at the hospital administering a spinal tap on my sick newborn. Beyond his services, Dr. Garzas clinic is equally exceptional. The lobby, patient rooms and other facilities at La Altura Pediatrics are kept immaculent. If youre looking for a wonderful pediatrician, look no further. Dr. Garza is highly respected in his field and is someone I have confidence to refer to everyone I know!

My kids have been with Dr. Garza for 5 years now and he acts like family! I have waited for 2 hours to see him sometimes because I know that if he is busy, it only means he must be taking care of someone that really needs him and WE have been the ones who have needed him before so we can empathize! I feel Dr. Garza treats my kids as if they were his own and that speaks volumes. We are very grateful that we have found him and we trust him fully. If he can help, he will; he has arranged for ER services to be ready before we reach the hospital so that our sick child will be attended to immediately, he has called in prescriptions for us before/after regular business hours/days, he answers my emails as soon as possible, he listens patiently and treats us with respect. I have referred so many of my friends to him and they all regard him as highly as I do. Best of all and probably most importantly, my children LOVE him and feel safe with him!

La Altura Pediatrics has taken care of our children for several years now. We are very happy with the care we receive there and appreciate the friendly staff, the professional service and the expert medical care our children have always received. We will continue to take our children there and encourage any and all who need good pediatric care to do the same.

Fantastic staff! They make everything easy and answer every question Ive ever had especially for me being a new mother(and Ive asked a lot of things). They have taken care of my son since birth and once I have more children they will be taken there. Definitely WORTH the commute for quality care.

My daughter went for a Annual Physical Evaluation. During the evaluation the doctor referred her to have an X-Ray done in her shin. X-Rays were taken and there was never a follow-up, but they are billing us for the whole visit. Rick referred me back to the insurance and cut off my call.

Dr. Garza has treated our children for several years. He is very honest and caring. It is difficult to find a pediatric doctor that shares the same moral values that you do for your children in this day and time. We are very pleased with the care our family recieves.

Excellent doctors and staff. Always warm and welcoming. Very clean and child-friendly. My kids love coming to the office of Dr. Garza & Dr. Setlick. Many doctors entrust their children to their care--that says a lot! I highly recommend La Altura Pediatrics.
