I love this vet. They are all so incredibly nice and patient. They take the time to explain things and all your options with their recommendations. I took my dog in for a bum leg and was 100 percent willing, and even asked for, x-rays to make sure everything was good. Once the doctor had taken him back and done an assessment he recommended waiting off on the X-ray because he didnt think it was necessary. He prescribed antibiotics inflammatories and rest and wouldnt you know it, all better after that!! They could have easily done the x-rays and charged me for them and I wouldnt have hesitated but they didnt. I love them!!

Dr. Weeks and his staff really, truly care about animals. The place is always spotless, the staff is thorough and efficient. I have no trouble getting appointments, often on the same day. Dr. Weeks is so attentive and gentle with my dog, willing to listen to my questions and concerns as a pet owner, and always careful to explain my dogs symptoms/ailments and describe carefully any medicine or procedure prescribed. I live almost an hour away, and there are vets closer to where I live--and less expensive--but to me its worth the time and money to go to Pet Medical Center. I trust them with my dog.

Dr. Weeks and his staff are amazing, and we have had nothing but great experiences with them! Weve been taking our 2 whippets there ever since they were 3 months old, and they love going to see Dr. Weeks and his staff. When we got our first puppy, we were new puppy parents and had so many questions and everyone at Pet Medical Center was so patient and helpful. Recently, we took our female dog to get spayed and they called the night before to remind us and called after her procedure to check on her. You can truly tell that Dr. Weeks and his staff have a passion for animals. Highly recommend them.

My family started using Pet Medical Center upon moving to San Antonio in 2007. We selected it because it was close to our home, but we continued to use it because the team is exceptional. Whether our appointments were for wellness visits or sick calls, the team was terrific. We found them to be very caring, compassionate, and trustworthy. They make an effort to maintain a high quality practice. They also offer boarding. We moved away from San Antonio in 2012 and wished we could take the clinic with us. We highly recommend Pet Medical Center, no matter where you live in town.

This place is amazingly clean and well taken care of. Ive taken my dog here many times and she loves it. The waiting areas and exam rooms both have comfy seating areas, which tend to be rare at vet clinics. Dr. Weeks is very capable and gentle, and he genuinley cares about each animal. Ive also boarded my pet here, and the indoor, air-conditioned rooms are fantastic. They even have the option to view your pet via webcam from anywhere in the world. The only downside? Youll pay for all these comforts, but in my opinion, its worth it.

Dr. Weeks gentleness, knowledge, sensitivity, explanations and empathy are always demonstrated. Just recently, when I had my little boy dog euthanized, his actions and words helped ease my dogs pain and my sadness. Staff also displayed gentle care and sensitivity with my little boy dogs pain and preparation for being euthanized. I highly recommend Dr. Weeks for his work and "bedside manner".

Called with my dog in respitory distress (dog can barely breathe) at 520pm. The receptionists told us to wait until tomorrow. Wow, didnt even refer us to a 24hour clinic. Not a good place. My mother takes her 7 dogs here. I will put a stop to that. Called Town and country on bandera, and the receptionist was caring, compassionate, and truly wanted to help. Thats where we went.

I rarely write reviews, but this is my second one for Pet Medical. Dr. Weeks knows his stuff! Not only that but his kind, gentle nature is reassuring and calming in a crisis. My cat got very sick and he and his staff went way beyond expectations to serve us and get her well. We will be forever grateful. I highly recommend this Vet for your family.
